Looks to me like you could get away with just the corrugated wall type and the B&B Material Regions. But if you already have the B&B defined as a wall type maybe just frame manually beyond the pony wall so it will appear all in one detail. Always lots of options in Chief. You just have to try one and see how it works.
-
Yes you can import them from a Chief X12 template file. File>Import>Import Saved Plan Views.

Make sure your "Walls,Layers" layer is turned on and likely "Walls, Main Layer Only" is turned off.
-
Well that was really odd. Here is a video.....

You may need to restore the default material by using the material tab of the floor ? DBX. Is that a mono slab or foundation walls ? This is often a walls issue but have not seen it as a floor issue before so you may need to post the plan if you can't sort it out.

Something I have not tried yet but was thinking may be a nice setup for client presentations is a laptop and a projector since they are getting so small and coming down in price.
-
So likely your best bet is to use a manual counter top for this situation as well.
-
Yes that is a bit odd that it changes the cabinet but not the DBX information. Possibly an auto bump feature. It does however retain the data and overhang if it is separated again. Looks like it was not bumped originally on the posted file but slightly overlapped.

No problem printing your Layout Cover from Adobe Reader. What other PDF viewers have you tried ? I have seen this before when other people print out my drawings and I feel like tearing them up when I see them. Black text and dimensions don't show well on a black background. People trying to save money can really screw up a project. And I don't even put a markup on the prints I provide.

Most likely a bunch of fire and CO code requirements that you will need to research locally.

Yes that is it. Three steps.

Automatic vs. Custom Countertop Material List Area
Chopsaw replied to rwdozier's topic in General Q & A
In the mean time it could be done correctly with a custom macro as I am not sure there will be any more updates for X12. -
Do you mean text ? Marque select and block then add to library.

Automatic vs. Custom Countertop Material List Area

They are actually both wrong but 5.07 would not be an issue in this situation. I would check to see is someone like @MarkMc has any knowledge of the problem and send it into tech support as it seems to be functioning the same way in the latest updated of X12. -
There are a bunch of options.... You could make the image column narrower by just a bit and that would work, or make two schedules and separate them by floor level. You could even send the schedule to layout twice or three times and crop out the appropriate sections so there are two or more columns. You could even rotate it on the page so it would be the same orientation as your revision table.
-
Yes I believe so but not necessarily East but rather facing the right side of the lot or facing away from the right side of the building the way you intend to draw it. Let us know how it goes.
-
You have two schedules. You may need to search for the second one possibly in a cad detail.

Hi Kevin, I got it......

You can also go to your own Profile and click the "See My Activity" button.

Yes I caught the wink, but unfortunately someone else did not. If you don't get a good answer here in a reasonable time frame I think that plan file should go to tech support. If I have time later I will read through your other thread to see if I can come up with another idea. If you add an air gap below your rafters it will allow the ridge beam to fill in but it also makes the wall issue worse...
-
Sorry Kevin. I thought it may have something to do with a very similar bug report I sent in yesterday but can't quite put my finger on the source of the problem. It is likely tied to the same reason your walls will not build to the underside of the v-joint. Potential workarounds would be to drop the ridge rafter ~ 5 1/2" or replace it with ceiling beam or p-solid.

That one is right about in the middle of the Comedy section to prevent you from crying by providing a little laugh.

Maybe uncheck the box that says "Randomly Display Structural Items". Likely need the plan file to sort that one out if it is even possible. Do you have a .png material applied ?
