  1. There are options for squiggle in the Line Drawing Mode and in the Water Color with Line Drawing on Top Mode.
  2. You need to specify it as a "Cabinet Door/Drawer". See pic.
  3. Obviously. When you created the symbol - did you specify that it was to be a "Door" or a "Cabinet Door". There's a difference.
  4. Select "Account Settings" in the dropdown next to your name. Then select "Edit Profile" (small type on the right side)
  5. I would only use those in Vector Views for Elevations. Note that they are simply line drawings and do not have any fill. So if you have them in a Elevation or Section you need to be aware that they will not block out anything behind them.
  6. Same as those I provided the link to above. I first posted those in X4 or X5.
  7. I would suggest you contact Customer Support. OTOH, Pan/Zoom should only be done in Standard or Vector Render modes. What's on your Layout Pages 6-10? Sections and Elevations with "Auto Update"? Turn that off.
  8. Alex, I would model the Fireplace in a separate Plan and convert it to a Symbol. Symbols have intelligence. PSolids are pretty dumb.
  9. Is the view open? There is no fill when the view is open. That's the way Chief shows that any section or elevation is currently open.
  10. Here's a link to the Thread in the old Forum. There are a series of calibz files (50+ images) that you can download from that thread. People Images
  11. Print to PDF, then open in a PDF Editor ( I use NUANCE PDF) and add the water mark in that Program.
  12. Did you ever download the ones I posted about a year ago?
  13. Alex, Please edit your signature to indicate what version you are using. I tried opening your plan in X7 because that's what your signature indicated. The Plan was actually created in X8.
  14. Kevin, The problem with this is that the Layer in question was CAD, Default and by turning off that Layer you also turn off other things that maybe need to be displayed. This points out rather clearly that using CAD (Lines, Polylines, etc) in the Plan is really not a good idea. Using the proper tools to model the building will avoid a lot of this kind of problem.
  15. Check the Callout Defaults. Also not that the fill is not present if the Cross Section/Elevation is currently open.
  16. The short answer is NO. Chief doesn't provide a way to do this. Values can be converted from inches to ft-inches by using Ruby Macros but the Columns in a Schedule do not accept macros so there isn't any way to make that conversion in the Schedule.
  17. So how do you know what the title is of the original post? Will the search find content or does it require an exact post title?
  18. Here's another way to change wall types: 1. Select a existing wall type that you want to use. 2. Add it to the user library 3. Select that wall type from the user library and draw over the existing walls that you wan to change.
  19. You can put it on another layer that isn't displayed in the Plan View but is displayed in the Elevation View. But that will just leave a blank area in the Plan. If you want the Wall to appear continuous in the Plan you will need a filled Polyline Mask.
  20. Gene, Since this fixture is resized, you will need to display the original in a blank plan, resize and "Convert to Symbol" in order to get it to perform properly.
  21. The right arrow is there - you just can't see it because it's right at the center of the right side of the image. OTOH, all you really need to do is click anyplace right or left of the center of an image to go to the next or previous.
  22. You can just "Add to Library" after making the appropriate edits. Then delete the old version from the Library.
  23. Good point, How do we refer to post #n in this thread?
