Yes. You are. GTM provides an option to call in to their system using a phone. They're not calling you. They're calling into the meeting using a special phone number and access code provided by GTM.

There's actually not. It can be automated to a certain extent but for accurate door and drawer panel dimensions there has to be direct user input one way or another based on the specifics of each cabinet and it's specific openings and panels. Some of this can be sped up by creating and storing re-used cabinets and/or appropriately named panels but it's a lot of manual work no matter what you do. If and when Chief gives us a Collection of individual openings and their panels, then it would be possible. Not now though.

That wouldn't work because there can be multiple baselines. It can only use one (and I think it just uses the highest of the 2). Because they had to pick something to use. It could have been anything really. Why not just be consistent and use same In From Baseline?

There are 2 main reason I've seen this occur. One is because of Chief's addition of the Measurement class and the other is because of Chief's full implementation of unicode.

I have this happen from time to time. It seems related to nothing more than the clipboard having a bad day. At any rate, I think you can usually fix it by rebooting, but I also think it will fix itself if you copy and paste something in the problem window. Then go back and try your original operation again. It should work. At least that's how I remember resetting the clipboard when that happens. It doesn't seem to happen often enough for me to remember how to deal with it, so I always have to try one or 3 things before I get it.

I see that you have X12. Is there a reason you haven't just continued the plan in X12?

I glanced at Mark's plan and something he had in there made me realize that it actually can be quite a bit quicker to use Delete Surface to create a symbol out of an actual cabinet for this particular scenario. I only ran through it once so the process is a little messy, but you'll get the idea...

Eric was suggesting a method of posting a stripped own version of the plan, not a solution to your problem.

For that scenario you'll not only have to spin that around every which way but you'll also have to use the Alt key to limit which faces you're deleting. Way more time consuming than it's worth. In my opinion, just build from scratch.

Although I do think it makes sense as it works, I can also agree that the information in the Help files on this particular roof style is oddly generic and pretty minimal. It looks like it was just pulled from the Tutorial Guide and as such there's no context.

You can't create a roof plane that references itself. That would be a circular reference. Besides, it's called an upper pitch.

Yes. It's being measured as Levis shows. The baseline is the other way. Its a gable end which has no baseline of it's own from which to measure for that Upper Pitch.

No need for the second schedule, and there's no need for the extra macro either...In X12 you can add the schedule number using the window label, but prior to X12 it was controlled via the schedule...

Here's how those Flat Regions work... ...and Flatten pad does the exact same thing.

Actually, the room isn't doing anything. What happens when you check Flatten Pad is the exact same thing that would happen if you were to place a Flat Region (Cut/Fill) shaped exactly like your exterior room perimeter on the lot. Chief just modifies the terrain to essentially create a flat spot on the desired footprint without adding or removing any material from that area. It might dip down to make this happen (cut) or it might rise up (fill)...

Not 100% positive this is the solution I would ultimately end up using but here's some of the first things that come to mind...

Select large p-line, click the subtraction tool, and then click the shape you want to subtract (smaller p-line).
