All can be changed in Structure dbx. Without causing changes any where else.

If symbol won't download, re-boot CA and it will. I often get an error code when doing it multiple times. Maybe share symbol from 3d Warehouse and someone will probably get it for you.

When you open symbol in CA it can be resized. Currently designing restaurant with all kitchen equipment from 3d Warehouse and I resized most all of my imported symbols.

Solver did you use break wall tool and then change wall type? or do you have another trick, I ask because I do panelized construction and if a better way I would like to know. Wall panels are 8' wide or less each has to frame individually. -
Keep asking the questions, this site is very helpful. Even the pros run into issues.

use a polyline solid, color it accordingly and put it on it's own layer so you can control it.

Yes 3,000 sq ft existing still has the vinyl siding on it. Drywall delivery in 2 weeks and a 172 Pella windows get delivered tomorrow.

I have been on this project for 13 months and hope to finish by next summer. 31,000 sq ft addition to 3,000 sq ft house I built in 1992.

Yes lock layer to stop further framing. You can manually frame your ceilings too in the "Build framing" dbx

Eric has the solution. Room adjacent to garage, set all structural tabs to default; break wall where you want; grab it and pull it up. Angle Garage Addition mine.plan- 9 replies
