I have a plan with brick on the front of the house with quoin corners and siding on the sides the quoin corners show on the siding side is there any way just to show the quoins on the front brick side of the house of is it something that I have to do a slab and copy them. Thanks

What does your local and state codes require, in my area I can do residential and townhouses without a license, also work with a Structural Engineer/Architect for any question or commercial work

Scott did you happen to record the meeting, I got in late and if you did I would review it, thanks I think I got goofed up with the time difference between east and west

build your dormers and roof then use the break tool to break the roof planes around the dormers and connect the valley's of the roof and dormers, I always use the 3 key to break the roof planes and the 2 key to connect the valley's, make sure you select the main roof plane first then use the break tool

I downloaded and was not sure about it so I did it on my laptop first which had win8 on it, getting ready to download it on my main computer that I do most of my work on which has win 7 on it, so far I like it since it reminds me or win7 the way it works, so far so good and I am not a computer person so as far as the likes and dislikes I can't help you there but I do like it on the laptop that is why I am going to download on the main work computer.

Most of what you are looking for are under appliance’s, as far as the switch for the gas fireplace place a switch and arc line to the fireplace and put a note there, not sure if the is a switch for that

make you casing the size you want then use the slab tool to make the quoins

I believe this can be done within the window schedule by adding those to the schedule and yo don't need macro's for there, go to window schedule specifications

you might try making a symbol by drawing ti outline with cad and doing an overview then convert to a symbol molding,

can you just turn them off so they don't show on the plan you want to send to him

Since you are exporting a line drawing I think the only way they can see elevations if you export your elevations as a dwg or dxf file

Thanks Larry from what you have indicated the only time your crash has happened is if you copy and paste window schedules, I always make up a window schedule for each plan that I do since not all window manuf are used by all the builders I do plans for so I made my own lib or windows to put in each plan I do so I don't copy and paste any window schedules
