  1. Those who are disappointed with your speeds, try zooming in and selecting another server, you may get a better speed than using the server that Ookla automatically assigns. If not try a few more
  2. Clever, I never thought of this simple way. but I tried it and I can't get any hardware on the doors.
  3. No not an easy way, painstaking it is. http://www.chieftalk.com/showthread.php?35540-Previously-unknown-cabinet-functionality&highlight=previously http://www.chieftalk.com/showthread.php?43825-Previously-unknown-cabinet-functionality-2&highlight=previously
  4. Why only one year Iguana Tea (which I thinks sounds better than guarantee), those shipping charges seem very high
  5. I am located in the Netherlands (a small country in a swamp) Just got fiber, I get 80mbs/ 80 mbs , as advertised, when connecting to servers in Amsterdam. I also tested servers in London, Moscow, and some place called "New york city", I got similarly good results although the pings went way up, the futher away I went. some servers give disappointing results a connection in Japan tested at 11down / 12 up, with a 296 ms ping!
  6. Camouflage texture, I just don't see it! (well somebody had to say it)
  7. I don't get it, what is this thing for.
  8. Yup, don't upgrade, but seriously (which is difficult for me) did you look in "My documents/Chief architect x5 data/ Daterbase libraries/user library"

  11. Yes come on Andy, Harry really needs this lift.
  12. You don't mention if your dog is large or small, if its a small dog it could probably use a cat door ,I made one here it is. http://www.chieftalk.com/showthread.php?62081-That-Darn-Cat-Flap&highlight=darn If it's a large dog he could could just bark a lot till someone let him out, or if it's an intelligent dog like Lassie you could teach him to open door handles.
  13. Sometimes it's spelled Shaun Delier, but thats only when refering to an Irishman who swings from the ceiling.
  14. You could take a regular soldier image and modify it in an image program. I tried ACDSEE and stretched the top of the image in "Perspective correction", works a treat.
  15. I agree, sick animals need a vet.
  16. Very good stuff, by the way there is an old Chief trick to make small holes in the ceiling platform. You cannae (Scottish) make small square holes, but you can make small triangular ones. If you fashion a small equilateral triangle it will work, one possibility would be to alter the strait sides into curves, which if you are careful will give you a circle. Now try and find a use for these (can lights) maybe
  17. Well yes I've had problems with breaking Belly Band ( mine you I've never heard it called that before) The only solution is to buy a new belt and eat less. www.youtube.com/watch?v=x0Nw5tDNWo4
  18. Hi Joe, hope you slept well, now you can work on those floating knobs.
  19. Tommy. I don't see the point of this, it assumes you have X6, and would then go back to X5, is that likely. I think it would be better to post the files in a format that can be read by by other versions, in the first place
  20. Joe Carrick is correct, there are some other points to watch, you may like to refer to this post which explains it all http://www.chieftalk.com/showthread.php?32770-Windows-any-windows&highlight=windows you might also read my reply to this one. http://www.chieftalk.com/showthread.php?47887-Sketchup-windows-into-CA&highlight=kolbe
  21. I'm glad you found your trellis, if you want to bend it could try (re)import as a door or window in a curved wall. Here's a link to a prehistoric post when dinosaurs roamed the earth and David Beckham still played football. http://www.chieftalk.com/showthread.php?19156-3D-Signage&highlight=
  22. Basically most doors are slabs, some have embellishments, when these features are lower than the "slab" of the door, they will import without difficulty. When the embellishments rise above this slab surface, Chief will "see" the whole thickness of the door. you will find the door does not hinge in the correct place, and the hardware, handles and such will not attach to the doors surface but instead to an invisable "bounding box" and will appear to be floating a short distance away from the doors surface. To prevent this happening, during import in the 3d dialog box select "specify origin" make X=0, Y= the height of the embellishment (on the inside of the door), and Z=0 Next select the sizing tab, and make depth "Y" = the thickness of the slab part of your door. Should import perfectly.
  23. Try a i7 4930K vs. i7 4770K search on the net. If you must watch your budget the 4770's should be cheaper, and in addition the 4930's require the more expensive motherboard. Also the 4770k is about to be upstaged by the faster 4790k.
  24. Rosco did you work out the origins thing?
