My experience was that this did not help 100% as importing defaults , imports the Dimension defaults automatically which are no longer the same in X13 ( whole module was re-worked) and they no longer worked correctly, ie snapping to elements not even visible. I am surprised Brad is crashing so much on a 1070 ( if sig is correct? ) M.

You can check in Preferences>Render>Videocard Status

The problem with Win 11, is if you have a 3000 series Videocard Joe ..... though some of use have issues with Win10 and even MacOs Chief has now acknowledged that issue in their Known Incompatibilities .....

Chief has updated it's well hidden incompatibilities page ....Jan.2022... see above.... but if you follow the Forum , it is mostly stuff we have already discovered. including issues with windows 11 and nvidia 300 cards , Nvidia 700 Series cards and Intel Iris/UHD Graphics in 10th gen Chips. M.

1. Use a boxed Header 2. The Door wall is the pony wall with the 8" FDN Wall on top......pulled down to the top of the Header 3. It is unfortunately not 100% automatic and if the concrete is too close to the framing it will turn into 1 solid piece it seems.... 4. Once the framing is correct , on the structure Tab of the framed wall check the retain Framing box. 5. Why is the reinforced conc. above the door not strong enough ? ie why is a header needed here? - which would also mean a larger Trim to cover the Header. * I have only drawn one wall to try this so with Chief's usual quirkyness YMMV M. That has always been Chief advice ...to rebuild all Templates with each version upgrade..... but it can be ALOT of work, and sometimes you can get away with it , but there are alot of changes under the hood in x13 including Dimensioning and the new Graphics engine. M.

My best guess : you didn't rebuild the Framing After you lowered the Floor ? M.

Did you try a Pony wall as I suggested? with 8" CDN FDN on the top I am not sure why you would need a Header in this situation though? wouldn't the (dbl?) Bucks be enough?

Since Beta , I've had Issues with X12 plans in X13 ......totally X13 plans seem ok as far as this 3D Error, not sure what is cause the random lockups though as those plans I believe are ALL X13. I have never seen a Nvidia Driver lockup , so am not if the TDR Fix will help? , but I do not, like you, see Errors in other Programs with 3D or otherwise. M.
