  1. If you mean in the 1st Library I posted (now Update above) , you are right, saving the Cabinet to My library to include in the .calibz as an example seems to have stripped the CL info from the Cabinet. Thanks for the Sample Macro Mark, helped me make a couple of Others so the Schedules work Pretty well now. It seems that the Drawers Glides in the Component List for Chief's Default Cabinets only report to the ML not the Schedules ? A macro fixed that though.
  2. I was thinking to use the number of "shelves" x2 in a macro for the Cabinet OIP Drawer Guide Value but we don't seem to have a value for Shelf ( or I missed it) eg I was thinking something like %num_shelf% would exist ??? *looks like we have one called "insert" though M.
  3. This is what the Green + is for in the CL Tab Middle Panel @ Top.... Ok Michael may have a point I was thinking Accessory...but I thought we lost Sub.-Cats. in x10 actually...
  4. It seems to Work the Old way for me if the Plan View Dropdown is set to None before I start Sending to Layout , otherwise it uses the Saved Plan View Setup for the Layout Box too , which you then need to set to None. I can't remember if I added the Plan View Dropdown with customise Toolbars or if it was there but here is mine....
  5. It seems as though Chief is stripping the Glides when we Insert the Shelves into the Chief Cabinet.... I made 3 different Rollouts , all have Glides as Components but they don't end up on the Component list for the Cabinet , you still need to add them Manually to the Finished Cabinet's Component List....(CL) Maybe I made the Symbols wrong ? not sure? you'll have to see what Michael says he's the Symbol expert. ( Or MarkMc) ***EDIT ...USE the OIP and make a field called Drawer Glides and the Value 2 Library Updated MHD_Rollout Shelves.calibz Mick. .
  6. For a basic Rollout you don't need a Library Item just check the Rollouts Option. If you want a Tray for the rollout (with sides) you will have to make you own though. It looks like Chief isn't adding the Glides to the Automatic count for the Cabinet when we check the Rollouts Option but it is easily fixed for now but should be reported. Just add +4 (=^ whatever is needed) to the Automatic count in the Components List. To add components hit the green Cross + sign , it will add an accessory , which you can then rename by clicking on it and change the Count...... I am just making a Rollout shelf , when done I'll post it M.
  7. If you were on Previous Betas Use the Reporting Tool , not TS for the Report, as it is seen faster still at this point...
  8. Your Welcome , I thought it might help those of use that think like Builders rather than Engineers (or Lighting Designers) For Others ....If you missed it the Diagram is here : LINK
  9. I am thinking you are right..... I'd have thought with a Monoslab the Foundation level ceiling heights would be 0" , since it's supplying the Floor for the Room above and nothing else.... The Defaults even show the Foundation has a Ceiling of 97" which is just weird.
  10. Just watching FL# 3 vid. ....no problem starting your own thread .... just trying to catch up from yesterday, as the old Structure Tab/Dynamic has always been an issue, so was hoping to pickup a few more Insights... Not sure I have had one as bad as the one you are working on in the CHBarry Video though.
  11. I was just about to look at your other Thread about this ....where should I start ?
  12. Not to me as I just do the above , ie copy the Auto one then turn off the display of the Chief ones and place my own. Symbols wouldn't allow you to change the Rise and Run as needed I don't think which would be an Issue, since I don't use precut Stringers from HD.
  13. Looks like he may have exported the the .calibz in X11 Melissa, assuming you tried with X10 X11 should be in your Digital Locker if your SSA is good through March 30 under the upgrade Button, it doesn't install over X10 so you can have both running.
  14. It can be a pain that's for sure especially with composite Decking where its nice to have them 12" apart not 16". You would think if they can generate 1 stringer spaced evenly that they could space 2 or 3 evenly just as easily.
  15. This post maybe of Interest too you...George just posted a new Material.....
  16. Just a suggestion to change your Thread Title to Spanish Roof Tile Materials...or something similar so Others will find it in the Future too..... M.
  17. No we didn't get that in X11 , so the old workaround of doing a Backclipped Cross section through the Staircase , tracing the Stringer with CAD Lines and converting the Closed Polyline to a Polyline Solid ( and then a Solid if you want to save it) is still the best way as far as I have seen.... Here's a Practice Plan I still have from Last year to look at.... MHD_Stair Stringer Plan.plan
  18. As Glenn said they show in plan View and let you show the tread Overhang and Center Stringer etc. depending on what is drawn they may not show much , eg with a Ramp...
  19. Charles is also in Hawaii @Charles
  20. Well you are the 2nd or third person today , so maybe you should M
  21. Do both Soffits show the same behaviour out of curiosity? ie pull the narrower on back inside kitchen and wider one over the Wall? or don't and fill gap only with a solid PS. X11 is in your Digital Locker assuming your SSA is good through March 30th. M.
  22. All doable , if somewhat manually...look in the KB for a Tutorial on Pole Structures. Also Search for Barns etc on this Forum as I have worked on Several plans for others in the Last few Months for this kind of structure M.
  23. X11 is in your Digital Locker assuming your SSA is good through March 30th. M.
  24. It looks like CA doesn't recognise the Concrete cutout at all , which is why the Auto Dims and Opening/Framing dims locators aren't working as expected, as there is nothing to snap to for the Cutout .....so it is only "seeing" the opening. Just have to use Point to Point Dims on the Foundation level........ *** I see Brian's Post too now.... which explains why I had to set Rough Opening and Conc. cut out to 0" to make it look right...
  25. It seems my local guy has us do it slightly different than normal due to having issues in the past with Framers who aren't very accurate or Own a Level , they have us frame it so the Opening is FINISHED 1" smaller than the Door size all around ....so 1" less in height 2" less in width. as far as the Top Right Images goes .............My guess is that you are not locating the rough opening but the sides of the opening with the Dim String....
