One I put the text into the Rich Text box it is accurately not bad to make it the way I want it. Its still much quicker than retyping everything. Since I started this thread I have learned a lot about Rich Text and regular text and how to use them. The thing I don't understand is why they have two separate boxes. I don't understand why they could have all the options combined in one box?
-
Yes, everything just groups together and I have to space everything the way I want it.
-
Is it possible to cut and past this text into a text box and have it come out with this same spacing? I always have to adjust it with font and correct spacing and numbering even if I build something in word first and then transfer it.
-
I like it! Thank you that helps!

I want to end this thread because my question got answered on a different thread. Here is my resolve I didn't know that I could make a custom column in the default schedules under "Custom Objects Field" Not sure if this was new in X11 but I never seen it before
-
Thank you! You just helped me with this answer gave!
-
Any idea's for best way to label the windows existing or new in the schedule? (E) or (N) Maybe just use the label column or something?
-
Yes, that is what I'm doing. Just thought I would see if anyone new something I didn't. Thank you for confirming. This is the information I like to see

Is there an option for obscure glass anywhere for the window schedule? Or do I have to add it to comments? What do you guys suggest because most every bathroom window I put in have obscure and tempered glass. I'm surprised CA doesn't have a check box in the same place you check for tempered and egress. Help would be much appreciated
-
Yea, arent they getting ready to put out a new windows again soon?
-
Windows 10 has been out for a while so I'm sure its pretty solid now and David confirmed it works good for him.

I'm very, vary, vary happy with my upgrade to the NVME but I'm on a PC so I dont know if that helps you. I dont know anything about MAC and to be honest I dont know much about PC but I do know that the NVME is the hot ticket for me! I love it!
-
I know several people that don't want to give up windows 7. Some claim that it is still the best windows version. I'm not proud of this statement but I always upgrade because I always think I have to have the latest technology whether it's good or bad. Most people leave things alone when their system is working good and I make trouble for myself, but what the heck! Somebody has to be the Ginny pig! My advise would be, if everything is working good I would leave it alone unless you are prepared for the can of worms you could open up from going to windows 10. It could snow ball on you to upgrade other software and hardware. JUST A THOUGHT! FOR WHATS IS WORTH I have never had an issue with CA but I don't know how it will react to other software you have and your computer. Most of the time I think it is fine. You have to weigh out the risk for yourself.

I agree with your thoughts but things are hard to control. Its always easier said than done. I search all the time for stuff and its a lot of information to navigate through and so that in itself can be very time consuming. Easier to ask the question and get direction one way or the other. I don't have a good answer for this but I do know that this forum works very well like it is and it gets better. As for me, I will comply with an rules the best I can and help as much as I can. Thank you Mark, I really appreciate you!

I'm doing a video to better explains my problem with my external monitors. Should I start a new thread for that? I'm also going to send it to Chief.
-
Great video! Thank you! I will confirm what I learned from him. I want that Galaga Shirt! That was my may game of choice back around 1980
-
Yes, I was planning on going back and studying Rene's post about this subject and see if I can figure it out. I dont have have a full understanding and I dont want to get into something like this if I dont know why I'm doing it. I need a dumbed down explanation. You know like one of those books for idiots! Thankts Me!

Here is my final outcome with my drives: · C: (Main Disk) Samsung 970 EVO 1TB - NVMe PCIe M.2 2280 SSD · D: (Data/Backup) Samsung 860 EVO 1TB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD
-
Yes he is putting in the right stuff this time. Thank you! They are also going to look into the Video output issue but I'm not so sure they will solve that one because I had the same problem with two other computers. It could be a Chief thing or the monitors. I'm going to try other monitors and ask some more questions and call support again when I have a little more time to mess with it.
-
This statement above is correct! I dropped off the computer and he is putting in a 1TB SSD NVMe m.2 (i think i said that right) as the primary drive and he will clone it for me. And then I will use the other 1 TB as my backup or extra data. He doesn't think it will make much difference but then again he dont know anything about the software we are using. I just want to make sure I can get the best out of the equipment that I purchased and that it is being used the way it was designed to run. Thank you ALL very much for this thread. This should be a good testimony to "EGerace" (the starter of this thread) of the generous help you can get from this forum!

If vents are based on area then could the area be pulled from the room finish schedule?
-
I would like your help also if your willing but I need to understand more about what I'm asking for. Unless you have a system your already doing I can purchase from you and then make any adjustments I need. Basically, most of my work are Room Additions so I only need it to calculate the add on area and not the whole house. They don't typically ask me to include the roof that over lays the existing in the square footage for the attic, I usually only calculate the floor square footage. Let me know what you think Thank you Joe!
-
I understand ventilation and what is required for my area. I also no that square footage is not the only factor. There are spacing requirements and other factors to take into consideration. Also for sure high fire area's which I am not in. I get it. My original question inst about that. But again I really appreciate the input.

I really do appreciate the input guys, especially what Richard said.
