  1. This is what version I have
  2. I was just on the phone with Microsoft support yesterday and they were encouraging me to use it and that Is why I thought, why not! Nothing to loose! Its appears to run faster than Chrome and definitely Explorer
  3. I'm not sure what happened but I opened a new plan and its working in the new plan
  4. I was following this video that Chief put out. Just after 31 minutes in
  5. Yes, if you look closely at the picture you can see the edit handles
  6. How come I cant find this default tool in my plan? Anyone know? Chief demonstrates it in one of their new videos but I can find it.
  7. I just started using Microsoft Edge. I like the flexibility of it but its another thing I have to learn. So far its been pretty easy.
  8. Anyone know how to get rid of this notifications bar? It appears every time I click on something in the forum. I should not be forced to have the notifications turned on in Chief Architect should I?
  9. I think Mick is right on the rafter size. If you build framing you can see what needs to be done more clearly. No one can give you a definite answer unless we have your plan file. Its easier to help you when you can send your plan file.
  10. Framing comes out right also this way
  11. Not sure if this is what you are looking for but I like to run the roof in both directions off the same plate line and just put in a negative number to get my porch roof right from the exterior wall.
  12. I sent Joe a PM about a week ago and He hasn't got back to me. I hope he is ok! Its unlike him not to respond. I'm looking for some macros also.
  13. I just got that in a 1TB and I love it!!! Very Happy! Thanks to all the help I got from my fellow Chiefers on this forum
  14. Hello Joe!

You mentioned in the past that you had some macros set up for calculating square footage. We had talked about this in the past but I never did anything with it. Below is my Building Data that I have currently in a regular text box. I just fill in the information for every job and of course the descriptions change from job to job.

If you already have something built I would be happy to purchase it from you or if you have to build it that would be fine too. Either way I need some help and your recommendation with this task and I would like to pay for your services to help me.

If you can help I would much appreciate it.

  15. One I put the text into the Rich Text box it is accurately not bad to make it the way I want it. Its still much quicker than retyping everything. Since I started this thread I have learned a lot about Rich Text and regular text and how to use them. The thing I don't understand is why they have two separate boxes. I don't understand why they could have all the options combined in one box?
  16. Yes, everything just groups together and I have to space everything the way I want it.
  17. Is it possible to cut and past this text into a text box and have it come out with this same spacing? I always have to adjust it with font and correct spacing and numbering even if I build something in word first and then transfer it.
  18. I like it! Thank you that helps!
  19. I want to end this thread because my question got answered on a different thread. Here is my resolve I didn't know that I could make a custom column in the default schedules under "Custom Objects Field" Not sure if this was new in X11 but I never seen it before
  20. Thank you! You just helped me with this answer gave!
  21. Any idea's for best way to label the windows existing or new in the schedule? (E) or (N) Maybe just use the label column or something?
  22. Yes, that is what I'm doing. Just thought I would see if anyone new something I didn't. Thank you for confirming. This is the information I like to see
  23. Is there an option for obscure glass anywhere for the window schedule? Or do I have to add it to comments? What do you guys suggest because most every bathroom window I put in have obscure and tempered glass. I'm surprised CA doesn't have a check box in the same place you check for tempered and egress. Help would be much appreciated
