  1. 3D Warehouse has a selection, perhaps one for your project? https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/search/?q=pivot door&searchTab=model
  2. Mark: Here's a quick PBR I ran with a new camera (I did not see an interior camera in your plan other than the walk-thru) on X15 using mostly default settings. I also added a couple more light sources at the base of the stairs and set them for 4K lumens. To check on your end: Make sure all your light sources are turned on (be sure to select 'Default light Set' in your camera DBX) Increase the lumens and add more light sources Make sure your video driver is up to date Hope this helps - Eric
  3. I have the same concern which is why i use the 3D Cloud Viewer https://www.chiefarchitect.com/support/article/KB-03068/viewing-managing-and-sharing-3d-viewer-models.html This feature is well liked by my clients but it starts to bog down as the file increases in size. It would be nice if Chief provided a way to lock the file for sharing. Another option is to offer the .plan file at an additional cost to your clients who already have Chief. There's been lot's of debate on both sides of this issue in other threads.
  4. Here's a selection from 3D Warehouse https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/search/?q=prunus persica&searchTab=model

  6. Mark: Without inspecting your file, my first thought is that you need more lighting. Why it would render fine with another file open is a mystery to me. Try zipping your file to bring it down to a size that you can post. Eric
  7. I see what you're referring to, it must be in the lighting. René, can you share your secret?
  8. That would be a great improvement to Chief, far more efficient that the current system. I agree that Chief rendering has come a long way over the last couple of versions. This was rendered in X14...
  9. There are several on 3D warehouse, will any of these work for you? https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/search/?q=golf cart&searchTab=model
  10. Indeed they do, I don't know how I missed it earlier. Thanks Gene.
  11. Does anyone have a nice model for a Steinway Grand Piano?
  12. I've gotten the same message. Chief tech support confirms this is the case and to just keep checking, they'll eventually get everything updated for X15.
  13. You can also make the wall out of a 3D solid and then use the break tool to create the shape you need. You'll then have to add your casings, jamb and wall cap separately.
  14. Rather than trying to create the opening with a window or pass thru, make your doorway the full width and then add a half wall with a cap.
  15. Looks like you need to create a manual break in the lower roof at each end of the gable and drag it to the shape you want.
  16. From your top toolbar - CAD / Points / Delete Temporary Points
  17. I do have that in my user library. Unfortunately I did not have it when I did this project several years ago.
  18. I finally had some time to play with the new grass tool on X15. What a great improvement!
  19. Your welcome, always glad to help out a fellow Chiefer.
  20. Here you go Angela. It's a big file with lot's of surfaces so it will be slow to load. Hope this helps - Eric Chandelier, Beaded 01.zip
  21. This was created in a newer version of SU than what I have (SU 2017). Please find this on 3D Warehouse and then download the Collada file (.dae). I'll be able to import that into my SU.
