  1. You know I wonder if it is because I am doing ctrl Z? That might be the culprit.......just occurred to me.
  2. What also drives me nuts (short trip) is when I make several moves, changes in a row and then want to undo the last one all the changes get undone not just the last one. A real PITA!
  3. sometimes surfaces set to polished tend to have that problem
  4. blue with gray reflections from the road
  5. Michael, Yeah, probably what I'll have to do. I was just trying to do an all in one approach.
  6. I am trying to stack moldings as well as a wainscoting with a cap via one molding polyline. base, base cap, wainscoting, wainscoting cap all in marble tile.
  7. Michael - That is a bummer. That is exactly what I am trying to do.
  8. Ah, create at mid wall heigh and adjust things up or down from there. Got it. Obviously didn't think of that. Will give it a go.
  9. I have multiple moldings stacked. Could that be the problem?? Some are not as high as the bottom of the window and some start below and go into the window area. I can post the plan later. Have a RT going at the moment.
  10. Ray - the problem with that is I want the materials under the window.
  11. Aren't room molding polylines supposed to go around windows and doors? I have just done one in a plan and although it did stop at doors it went through the windows. ;o( What am I missing? The windows were in place when it was created.
  12. Glenn - not sure I understand your question. There is no setting in X7 for top height of cabinet. I was not aware of Michaels solution to do the math in the dbx. That is a big help.
  13. Eric - I was thinking floating dormer but got frustrated before I got to it. Been very busy the last few days and am a little scattered. Thanks for the reply. I will give it a shot in the morning. KInd of beat now. Thanks!
  14. I see this topic posted often but now I need to know how to get it right. Please see attached plan with pictures of existing that I am trying to duplicate. I watched a couple of videos but ......... Beaumont Master & BR 1 Bath.plan
  15. Hi Chris - Sure, know you from ChiefTalk. I never heard back from the girls. And you are kind of far out. Not talking personality! ;o) Hooking up could be difficult. Not looking good for this users group. Always willing to talk or email though.
  16. Joey - as Larry suggests I want the rail to come in on one side of the newel. Not on the "point". I have been running the last couple of days and just dropping back into the forum to check up on things. Thanks all for suggestions. I still consider this a problem area for chief's railings.
  17. Both kind of work arounds. Joey - what if I want the posts as part of the other rail sections. I think the problem may stem from the fact that Chief won't draw a rail section longer on one side?
  18. yeah, not how it shold be for a deck railing. Maybe TS has a solution.
  19. Can you splain what that is and how it might work? THis is a deck rail with newel posts.
