  1. Easy to do. Familiarize yourself with restrictive selections with an enabled Tool. Familiarize yourself with the Select Marquee Similar Tool in the Edit Toolbar that is enabled from an Active Selection. Also familiarize yourself with the Marquee Selection Modes in your Preferences under the Edit Panel. Simply select all walls that you want the cap applied to and edit in the Wall Cap Panel of the wall dbx.
  2. If you are importing a single object from autocad as a 3d symbol there is no way to explode the object to change it's UV mapping. You could use the Delete Surface Tool to tediously delete faces in order to create separate symbols from a singular item. The easier way if you have access is to properly UV map the symbol and re-export to preserve proper mapping,
  3. Feel free to contact me at renerabbitt@gmail.com and let me know a timeline..If I can't get it done I know 2 other contractors that likely could. Thanks, very kind. Mind checking the thread I just started in suggestions..I feel like it could be good method for suggestions but need some input. Having trouble focusing today
  4. Might suggest a Level of detail/quality required and could possibly provide these services myself or point you to your best fit. Here is an example mid-grade rendering I recently completed.
  5. Just curious if anyone knew if there was a benefit to Export\Export PDF. Seems to just use the chief PDF Print driver
  6. If someone was available at this price we could all retire early and that person would need at least 6 more arms for the workload.
  7. This is your terrain model imported..the data provided is fine for some parts but otherwise not very useful, typical for flat data. This is a decent amount of work with not a very big timeline. Not sure I could get it done in that time with other jobs ongoing. Maybe you can change the timeline or find someone with no ongoing work.
  8. Ill take a look tomrrow and let you know . CHeers
  9. The full adobe suite is a must have expense in my business..It includes 3 very powerful editing softwares each with its its strong points
  10. One of the baselines was off and a few off angles in the roofs. Easy to take the roof that was functioning, duplicate it and then reflect about the hip. Fowler_HQ.plan
  11. Welcome to the forums. Please fill out your signature so we know what software you are using as well as the type of machine you are using. This helps us to answer your question. This may be a simple fix, something your missing etc. Would you please post your .plan file.
  12. @SNestor was right..didn't need to recess, but wanted to mention it in case it was easiest and 100% accuracy wasn't necessary. His stacked molding was what I would do. basically how I would built it in the field.
  13. Uncheck recessed and then you can add a stacked molding for your casing..much easier to automate this process then hand drawn.
  14. Happy to help, Is there a reason you aren't taking advantage of the built in exterior casing? especially on the windows?
  15. Brain fart today.. Glen you're absolutely right. Been out of it all day I think from these stupid fires and terrible air quality. Thank you for correcting me
  16. Use the "@" to notify me when responding else I might miss it Yes that makes sense and their is no tool that will restrictively dimension just 1 room...their are a few workarounds I could think of but none worth the time. Simpler to just use the interior dimension tool. Keep in mind that you could use the auto interior dimension tool and then use either restrictive selection of dimensions or the select marquee simlar tool combined with the contained selection mode to quickly select and delete all unwanted dims from the auto interior dimension tool
  17. If you are referring to the Automatic Interior Dimension Tool, then navigate to Edit\Default Setting\Dimensions\Automatic Interior Dimensions\ and on the Locate Objects Panel in the Wall section check the Surfaces designation
  18. As solver mentioned, we need a .plan file so we can take a look.
  19. All makes sense to me, just not sure what happened ..one day was working fine and the next was crashing,,,no changes in between..even went back a version and the same problem existed. I think maybe a material file got replaced at its core location.
  20. Chief will search the local folder for all items. So long as all items are included and zipped to the same folder their should be nothing missing, unless you have not managed to include listed items. What specific "Type" of item is missing? Upload it here and we can take a look
  21. I was just getting started on it..and it is a full home remodel ..was confusing to me that it suddenly came to a crashing hault. I had at least a couple sessions with those cabinets so I don't know what changed. Thanks again
  22. You're the man!! It was the 2 linen closets like you mentioned..THANK YOU!!!!
  23. I'd usually struggle my way through this but was hoping someone can help me out. This .plan file came to a screeching hault seemingly overnight. Every time I change anything in 3d it rebuilds at an extremely slow rate, unbearably slow. Any help appreciated. LV-N.plan
  24. Does this happen with a default template plan or one of your own? can you post a .plan?
