    Willing to travel and have a 120-150" 4K projector for sessions. Your 20 year users will gain knowledge from sessions as is my experience with others of this level of experience. Same as your intermediate and beginner. My suite of assets and tools can cut down drafting times drastically and I maintain systems for file redundancy and cloud based project management as well. Cost for in person is substantially higher per hour so I encourage a week long trip for such things. I can also train via Streamyard So you know, there is a significant training event happening in Feb that I will be teaching at power user level as well as my partners teaching at intermediate to advanced.     Board and batten is best when using the material region tool as a trick. Serious rendering artists are not going to use a texture for board and batten unless the composition is from very far away. BTW I already have several high quality siding textures that I give away here on the forums in the symbols and content section or direct from my website in the free stuff section. Your template scene does not need grass to be applied FYI, I personally would prefer it if it weren't and instead was erased but still in the container tree so that we could apply it. Should be applied as the skatter tool instead of the painter tools. I do go over this several times in various twinmotion live videos on my youtube

    Because of its ties to unreal 5. The industry is moving in this direction as a whole and unreal has widespread use, much broader than Lumion. Also ease of use and continued developments. Twinmotion produced a pathtracer 2 full quarters sooner than lumion for instance. Another reason, integration with quixel megascans and sketchfab. and one more, twinmotion ships free with autodesk products now and utilizes the datasmith plugin.

    Yes keep it up, templating is a good approach I saw the video working on the hillside, the building itself still lacks the secondary maps that would make it realistic. Also noticed you aren't using the pathtracer...I would suggest that you start to build out materials with supporting maps to save to your twinmotion library, and also consider using scene backdrops so you arent flooding the background with trees to hide the undeveloped terrain..this is the purpose of the scene backdrop. This scene for instance only uses two trees, the background is a spherical HDRI You can see it clearly with these two, two totally different HDRI's

    You are getting this look because you are not using supportive maps in twinmotion, such as normal/roughness/displacement/metal maps. I would also suggest using generated grass as opposed to a grass texture

    This is true, as you are introducing new light sources..just like a camera you would need to play with settings to achieve your desired effect. You would need to put them in a container and save the container. You can also save painter groups which is what I wouldve been using to generate the tree line

    You can generate your own HDR skydomes so that you dont need to change the weather to generate clouds if you want them. You can also save different tree arrangements to your library

    X14, and you May want to check your email for chiefs new subscription model, you’re going to be priced out of new software soon if you don’t keep with the SSA. Just letting you know in case you weren’t aware. maybe time for a new computer surprised to hear that your machine won’t run x14… are you sure? whats your machine make and model?

    Menu button isnt on any of my keyboards..any idea what ascii key it reps? no problem with writing in any number of delays, but slower single threaded processors cannot keep up with really tight delays in some cases. SO I might make a suggestion for a method from chief to access a library search with a single hotkey

    What is the "Menu" key? I prefer the radial menus I have setup for my connexion which can also record macros, but every keystroke adds time especially to my slower single threaded speeds on my 14 core

    Yeah thats what I came up with. Hotkey for the library 2x followed up ctrl+A+Del. Ugh, annoying.

    Certainly..but not much more time. I designed this home with no reference material today in 4 hours. The condocs will take another 3 because it is a type of construction I am unfamiliar with. This is threadjacking, but, I am a brand advocate and I think their is a big divide here between the understanding of the casual user as to why this software is getting priced against Revit. So I'll post this

    Revit Comparisons.. For those of you that compare this product to revit(aside from their other professional tools), I will be doing a live stream in the next few months in attempt to hit an 8 hour design and condoc with editorial grade renderings...yes, within 8 hours. Revit is a joke for blue-collar residential, if you are comparing the two, then you are likely unaware of the various power users here and their associate youtube channels

    I think ethan ashby said it best for me...without any roadmap, this news just feels like a betrayal. I'm hoping this leads to better things, and I am a big brand advocate but he's right, we shouldve been given some more context. The optimist in me even feels like big news is around the corner but wont be shared until after Jan 10, which is not how I do business personally..be open and transparent. All conjecture of course
