  1. Maybe I am doing something wrong but wanted to create a library of notes that carried global macros without using the attached macro option of the library item iself. Meaning I want to set a global macro from either the notes text or Custom Field. I couldn't get it to work, confirming that I am not doing something wrong.
  2. Please create a new material using these images. THIS IS MEANT FOR THE BLEND WITH MATERIAL OPTION AS A UNIVERSAL WOOD TEXTURE! You will need to set the option to Blend with Texture in the Texture Panel under Material Color Section. Use the color picker to grab whatever floor color you are using(should be present in the 3d Material Previewer. Set Material to about 60" x 60" or so and should make for a very nice material. Adjust Bump down to .001
  3. Within the week is very tough, I may be able to handle it for you. Interior and exterior shots? What about Level of Detail(examples) and Budget? Feel free to contact me. Website is in my signature
  4. Richard is retired. old fart that he is @MKBDesign I believe is Melissa, awesome designer @Gawdzira Is down in Carmel and an absolute +1 @DzinEye is over in San Lorenzo And I'm happy to take on additional projects as well or give more resources in the Bay Area.
  5. Kudos to chief for this functionality. A simple way to edit your construction line perpendicular to your existing construction lines, select the CAD line and use the trim tool to align your CAD line ends to the fence.
  6. Most knowledgeable person I know in this program.. yes I said it Scott Harris
  7. Not at my desk to try a theory out but another option is that you can also just place a door in plan no?
  8. Debbie I am not sure where the frustrations lie but I made a video that should help you out a ton. https://1drv.ms/v/s!ArIPOe8v1SrklZxd3TbEXp3onVYy2w?e=DtMo0U
  9. Welcome of course, I have 1000's of textures, anything specific you are looking for?
  10. Workflow improvement would then be as follows" After an object is placed in plan, the object remains selected. In your Edit Toolbar, the Object Properties Tool is one way to toggle the selections Layers on, or open the Object and set Layer to appropriate in the Layers or Line Style Panel of the Objects DBX. I would then established your desired Layerset for the associated Saved Plan View such that the Layer, such as Furniture, is turned on for that SPV. Then save your Plan using the Save As Template Tool
  11. What is the intention of this function?(What specifically are you trying to achieve?) Maybe there is a workflow improvement that would better serve your needs.
  12. I have a Plan view named Working Plan View. The Default Set is Active Defaults. The Layer Set is Working Layer Set. The new CAD Detail retains Active Defaults but the Defaults themselves change. The Layer Set changes to Detail Layer Set. I remember in past that I could not only control the Layer Set that was created by default but also the Drawing Sheet Size.
  13. Mine changes layerset and all defaults. The active SPV has Active Defaults
  14. I can't find where the defaults for the CAD Details are. If you simply create a new CAD detail from your project browser, Active Defaults and a different Layer Set open up. Where is this Detail inheriting its Defaults from?
  15. I have a fireplace tool in my symbols thread that is built from cabinets with dynamic sinks for the tapers and chute. Much faster than roof planes IMO. Even has a foundation.
  16. This usually points to a driver issue or a memory cache that needs to be cleared on the VGA controller. Simplest solution is usually to reboot
  17. Will you share a .plan file with a clearly labelled saved camera so we can take a look at your various settings?
  18. Is this X-12 or X-13 and what video card?
  19. Notes and schedules work in CAD details. Are you having a problem placing them? Maybe check your CAD details active layer set to see if notes are visible
  20. Not really sure what the benefit would be for having multiple design options in one plan. Have your iterations up on tabs. Ctrl+tab, boom, there's your next design iteration. Want to copy an element over from one to the other, easy. Far more efficient to have design iterations in individual plan files. No special layering or work-arounds needed. Easier to transition to design development, no need to delete anything. Best part of separating design iterations=organization. Iterations are clearly labelled and presented with separate naming conventions. No possible mix-up on which one you are presenting. Have a client that is renting the software and you're okay sharing your work...easier still. Have a draftsperson that you collaborate with..easier still.
  21. @ChiefUserBigRob Have you disabled all AMD radeon overlays, this is a gfx issue, not CPU based. I bet turning off all radeon overlays solves your issues
