Kbird1
if you just reinstalled CA you will need to Download the Core Library Content again from the library Menu along with any bonus and Manf. Libs you want/need. Your User library is a problem though, I hope you have a backup on another disk or can still access the old one ?
RCarter
I've reinstalled CA..and when I click on "install core library" I get message that it's all up to date...It's like the library is there but will not show on screen Roger
Greg_NY61
Roger, like Mick said, everything in Self created library is lost, if you don't have that backed up, you have to start all over again.
RCarter
I can open other finished layouts and copy cad details ( I have done this on another computer) and send to user library as I need them...My problem is the CA Core Catalogue doesn't open when I click on icon. glennw
Roger Make sure your Active Library Filter is "Not Filtered". To double check, make sure all the libraries in the core library are unchecked in the Manage Library Filters dbx.
KirkClemons
Can you attach a screen capture of what you see in your library browser please? That's usually the place to start.
VHampton
Do you have a back up? You might be able to copy your back up folder of the old library and paste it directly into the Chief X7 location where it is located. I've done it before on old versions. It worked. KirkClemons
When you click 'Library> Update Catalogs/Install Core Content' it only checks for updates. To toggle the library browser, you will need to select 'View> Library Browser'.

KirkClemons
Try going to 'Edit> Preferences> Reset Options'. Click 'Reset Side Windows'. Then relaunch the program.
