HDbyJustin
I swap between Revit and CA, depending on whether I am at my full time job or my side hustle. One thing I do in Revit is to add some shadows to the floor plan views. It looks great when printed. What is the easiest way to do this in CA? SHCanada2
You can add shadows for specified days and times. Essentially a show study https://www.chiefarchitect.com/videos/watch/5320/sun-angle-and-plan-view-shadows.html?playlist=97 it creates polyline, so I assume you could change the fill to be a semitransparent grey, and get rid of the pline line, and it would be similar? 1
SHCanada2 Posted yesterday at 05:52 AM Share Posted yesterday at 05:52 AM not sure why i got a down vote. Perhaps what it looks like in revit might help someone find a solution

In Chief you can do something similar in an orthographic 3D overview. OP was looking for something like a drop shadow effect like in Photoshop. Feel better now?
