winterdd
Howdy guys, is there a way to show a door with no casing AND mounted to the center of a wall?
DBCooper
See if adjusting the "panel offset" does what you want.

The only panel offset option I saw had to do with floor clearance and overall height of door but I did see this but it cannot be checked, hmmmmm
GeneDavis
Did you try a pony wall there, the one OOB that is called shower wall, and making an end to end door?

Gotta have a full wall there per owner request, this exact shower.

I won't make a big deal about it though and just add a note if I have too.

GeneDavis
I do the door with its handle side closing to all-glass adjacent, so the continuous seal lip strip has a common surface for its seal fin. The down-low spout you see is called a toe-tester. You go into the shower, close the door, open the valve, which results in water coming from spout and not showerhead. Run it until your toes say just perfect warm, and press the diverter button. You can buy toe tester spouts two ways, one with diverter in the spout, the other without diverter. I specify without, and a shower control with a button diverter. 1
JiAngelo
Nice Gene. We've had a couple clients install those a little higher to fill/rinse mop buckets.
robdyck
17 hours ago, GeneDavis said: Run it until your toes say just perfect warm Makes sense...for people with no hands. Shouldn't the diverter be much lower on the wall so they don't have to lift their foot so high to run it on? Not everyone does yoga! Just when you think you've seen it all! Don't forget to lower the shower door handle by about 30".

GeneDavis
Came through for me using X16. It is a symbol and @Renerabbitt is being coy by shipping it that way. He should give you an X15 .plan file so you can open it, since you are not on X16. I can view and use the symbol, but as a symbol it's essentially a locked-up 3D object and we cannot see how he built it. Further, I don't believe symbols will report materials. DBCooper
So the easy way to solve this is to use X16 where you can just offset the panel to be where you want it in the opening. I did not take a look at Rene's symbol but my guess is that he made the door into a symbol so that he could offset the origin of the symbol. Personally, if I was determined to do this in X15 or some other older version, I would probably just create a doorway and manually place the door and position it how I wanted it. It's a cabinet so you can open it up and see all of the parameters of it, and I did not see that Rob was in X15. i built this in X16 and is part of a whole system that I would not redo in X15 1 hour ago, DBCooper said: I did not take a look at Rene's symbol you should

My biggest holdup is my library getting exported so I don't lose anything. I haven't mastered that yet and is always an issue.
