Gawdzira
I tend to run both x6 and x7 beta simultaneously, although I am almost completely out of x6, I don't like to be confused by the task bar icon so I made this icon to replace x7. I like it. seven_icon.ico

Kbird1
Thanks , I changed the Desktop Icon ( shortcut) no problem , but Chief.exe still uses the old one on the Taskbar , so I guess I applied it to the wrong thing? the .exe doesn't appear to have an change icon button..... DRAWZILLA
I put the icon file in the chief architect file and get it from there, from the change icon button. I also had to re-pin to the taskbar from the icon on the desktop
Kbird1
If I pin it to the taskbar I get the new Icon but when X7 is running I get the Standard one ,even though the Properties show Alan's Icon......I guess I misunderstood what Alan was doing.... Gawdzira
Mick, you will need to delete the current pin to task bar and reassign the one with the updated icon.
Kbird1
I think there must be a setting on my computer that is effecting it or I am doing something in the Wrong Order ? your post reminded me that I got Icons here last year I liked too ( don't remember who made them, sorry) but I tried it with the attached files too which gave me the same results regardless of Chief restart, computer restart etc , they all change the Desktop Icon and the Pinned Icon on the Startbar but not the Running Program Icon which reverts to the standard CA one. But maybe your icon/any icon can't change that? and I misunderstood what you were doing? M. Chief Icons were made by someone else on the Forums , so Credit goes to them, but sorry I don't know who. Gawdzira
That last one was a little too small on my taskbar. Seriously, I am on a deadline so the rest of your icons will have to wait....
