DRAWCO
The city wants my 2d elevations to show stucco. I tried downloading AutoCAD pat files but cannot convert them

Wouldn't a note or a patch section you draw manually in the 2D view and hatch be suffice?

My next guess is that you are using the wrong camera, or you have patterns turned off on the vector view camera you are using. Without a screen shot or something more we can't help you. This is 100% a user issue though because that fill is set for stucco by default. It's there.
HumbleChief
I've got 2 stucco fills. One for existing construction and one for new. Had them for so long can't exactly remember how they were created but here's a plan file that might help and a pic of what they look like in vector elevation. Hope that might help. stucco fill 1.plan

HumbleChief
Must be something that's on by default on my system but I found a tool to toggle on/off patterns that you can add to your tool bar. I just added it to mine.

Nice Mick, had no idea those options were available. Mine are on by default I guess as I've never had a need to not have patterns show.

Yeah something I never needed to add, and will probably not use as I never turn off patterns but good to know.

I mostly use it now and again for turning them off so I can see better if the view is heavy on PATTERNS, eg Cedar Sidewall Shingles , Roofing etc M. DRAWCO
Thanks I checked and patterns are on. I think the problem is that when I look at a vector view the stucco does not seem to have a pattern. The roof shingles, brick, and others do. DRAWCO
Got it. Now how can I make it stand out more? I tried making the line style larger but doesn't seem to make a difference.
