More Stair Problems

This is actually a problem I am having.

 

 

The image on the left is cad work, and the one on the right is CA generated stairs.

Can the one on the left be generated using CA?

 

I can't seem to do it.

Also I have the problem of putting a center railing in this plan

The other thing is that the end railings have to be 180 Degrees apart as well

Place a wall on the level below the deck.  Use a single layer wall type with the “opening no material” material.

Other option is to have a lattice layer if you are going to put it on the underside of the deck anyways.

I think you may also need to offer a reward.

 

It seems you need not just a wall but room definition as well but then you also get other surprises as one might expect.

Firstly, I think you need to clean up the geometry and get things accurate.

Your cad guide, walls and stairs don't appear to be snapped to each other correctly.

The joining of the stairs to other stairs is controlled by the Allow Rap setting.

The extension of the stairs at each side is controlled by the Winders setting.

But...to get the winders setting to work, the stairs have to be in a room.

So you need to create an invisible room.

But....I can get the winders to build on one side, but not both.

That helps but as soon as I create a room I loose the Rap but can achieve two Winders for some reason.

 

Too bad you can't edit stair treads like decking boards.  That would solve the problem pretty quick.
