Treehouse2339
I am designing a pergola. So I am wondering if on the support beams and the rafters, which I made from general framing, can have a detail on the ends similar to a roof fafter tail. Chopsaw
Sorry only Roof Beams and Rafters or manually with polyline solids drawn in section view.
joey_martin
As said, you have to make your own joists and beams. Make one and copy/paste, it's not too bad.
Treehouse2339
When you say make one do you mean a polyline solid?

justmejerry
You can add a molding line at end of joist or general framing member and apply rafter tail as molding. Like Joey said if you make one block it and you have it for library or for multiple copy.
Chopsaw
You can actually make a Pergola out of a roof plane. The only real issue is you can only profile one end of the rafters and beams so they need to be two pcs.

Did you know there is actually a pergola already done and saved as a symbol that looks almost identical to this in the library? Very similar anyways if I remember right.
