Canuck
I have never had to adjust the sash bars in a slider (Craftsman style) before but the client wants a 1/3 split on the horizontal bars in a slider. How do I move the single sash bar up?
lbuttery
just guessing ... maybe the "moveable opening" setting ??? Lew
Canuck
I thought of that Lew, but the menu doesn't present that as an option when in a slider type window.
DRAWZILLA
Use the custom mutton tool to do that. Just draw in cad your grids on the elevation and hit the custom mutton tool in the edit toolbar. You can then apply them to all your windows. KilgoreTrout
It's not clear what you are asking for but I'm pretty sure you can do it (and probably without having to resort to using custom muntins). For a craftsman style window, you can adjust the spacing of the horizontal bar by adjusting the number of vertical lites. With 2 lites, it will be centered. With 3 lites, it will be 1/3 from the top. With 4 lites, it will be 1/4 from the top. Etc.

DRAWZILLA
I agree with KT, but a pic of what you want may give you a more definitive answer. It just sounded to me that he wanted something special, not the standard. A picture would be good though.

Your solution will always work, KT's solution is the lazy man's solution that may work for this particular situation....... IF WE HAD A *^**^&*%$ picture, we would be more help. But who cares, I am about to pick up a 7.99 large pizza hut pizza and I am just hoping it will be good. So funny, 25% of the time their pizzas are good, the other 75% of the time they are barely passable..... I wonder what I will get today.
lbuttery
Scott: really, passable ??? I can eat just about any pizza but my all time favorite is Pizza Hut - Pan Lew
Gawdzira
Lew, you live in New York. Pizza Hut? You realize that nothing you say is credible from this point forward.

Canuck
Thanks guys but once again I was over-thinking what I was trying to do. Trout - You were 100% correct....I was looking for the "move" tool and had it in my mind that was the only way...
MickeyToo
Perry, how do you "apply them to all your windows"? I tried making the window with the custom muntin the default window using the Set as Default feature, but when I place a new window in the plan the muntins are absent. I then tried the same operation using a window with muntins derived from the window specification dialog and that one worked like a charm.
DRAWZILLA
There is no automatic way, you must do it manually. Copy the cad block to each window then load muttons on each one separately.
MickeyToo
Thanks, Perry. I did find that if the window with custom muntins is placed in the library, then copies of that window can then be placed in the plan (and the muntins do show). Otherwise, I guess you do them manually.
DRAWZILLA
Thanks Mickey, I didn't know that.
