Framing Detail on Soffits

How do I show the framing detail of soffits in 3D framing set

Unfortunately you would need to add general framing members to show that in 3D.  It does not seem to be standardized enough for chief to include it.

We have been asking for soffit framing for many years. you can do it with ceiling planes and modified walls and drag the bottoms up but it sure would save a ton of time just to frame the soffits

Don't I remember Joe coming up with a symbol (or ???)  to get Soffits to Frame ?

Seems to me he had something but it might have been to much trouble and time to do.. Right now I just add cad lines in the sections.

I had created a 3D Molding Symbol but it only worked for a specific soffit size.

Thanks Joe I guess that's what I remember , but didn't realise it was for 1 size only.

Are you talking about roof soffits or the soffit tool...which doesn't frame as stated above.
