  1. You can skip all that complication by NOT using "CAD to View" tool. Sending a live-connected view (elevation or camera view) you can more easily control line weight using the "Edit Layout" tool on layout. DJP
  2. Edit layout tool while on layout. Left click on an elevation or camera view while on layout with the "Edit Layout" tool icon selected (active) then in the resulting dialog box lighten either the "Pattern Lines" or "Edge Lines" as you wish. DJP

  11. Each roof plane has a dialog and a place to individually choose to turn off ar on whether or not you want or do not want gutter to be displayed.Always has this been so. DJP

  17. I agree with Larry in terms of an "as built" plan file and a "remodel plan file" for remodels. DJP
  18. It is a non essential way for others to evaluate whether one is useful and respectful of others in terms of "Help" or not. It is a social convention only. If you honestly try to help yourself and others, sometimes others notice and say so one way or the other. This is a Help Forum and as such you get help from others and you help others. Any other behavior is inappropriate here. DJP
  19. There are eight dimensioning tools, have you studied them and practiced using them? You should. DJP
  20. I never bothered to make a fully 3D symbol for such a thing (I rarely have a cause to place them). So what I do is to make a 2D symbol to represent the object in plan view and add the 2D symbol to my Electric Legend corresponding. It is not an object that makes a large impact in camera views. DJP
  21. If your room is named "Kitchen" or "Bathroom" any outlets should, when placed come in as "GFI". What did you name the "Kitchen" in question? DJP
