Does anyone know of a very simple way to adjust all plan view electrical symbols to be large enough for 1/8" scale plans? Many of the existing symbols have a text icon that's less than 3" which is really a bit too small for 3/16" scale plans and far too small for 1/8". Adjusting each CAD symbol one at a time is not an option!

I may have actually had less issues since installing Windows 11. Of course I have no idea if it's even a factor but I was just able to get this complex symbol out of the library on the first try!! Now that's what I call performance! Finally X13 and Nvidia are getting along!!

You can just delete the 2nd floor. Chief will rebuild attic walls as needed. Just make sure you don't have any objects still on that floor that you don't want deleted, like roof planes.

You can insert a dropbox link or a google drive link (or similar). And to get someone's attention, you need to either 'quote' them or mention them @DenisePac, like this. Then, the person you've replied to will get a notification.

Polyline solid (draw right or left half only) drawn in plan view. Edit shape in elevation view to match roof. Edit Shape in section view by pulling the top inwards. Copy, reflecting about center of roof ridge.

That's probably correct, but it could be something else. You really should post the plan or a download link so that anyone willing and able to help you isn't guessing. Then you'll get an actual solution and usually quite quickly!

I'm just having a little end of the day fun. @MTStuart It's helpful if you add some info about what version of Chief you are using. Also helpful if you can describe your issue in more detail. Are you trying to illustrate this in a 3d view or provide a section detail drawing as part of a plan?

It rebuilds the model on command. Open Help, search Rebuilding Walls, Floors and Ceilings

To raise the floor of that 1 room only, you will need a separate room on the floor below. This will mean using invisible walls to define a room in the same location on floor 1. The simplest way is to copy this wall (see image), then paste-in-place on floor 1 and set to invisible. Check floor heights are as you'd like and everything should work out as expected.

2nd floor structure, you have the plywood checked as framing. Change 2nd floor structure defaults. Draw new floor truss.

I haven't used TM in awhile, but here's a couple of images done in X13. Somehow squeezed these out in between the 40 crashes per day.

I'd start my business then study what I need, when I need! Otherwise, you may never get that business off the ground!! You might start looking into the code and then decide you need a different occupation!

Also, all your 2nd floor walls that have a roof plan butting the, should have this checked.

From inside the living room, take a camera or section view looking at that wall. Select it with a single click. Drag the lower vertical edges from right to left.

This wall I had to adjust manually.

Explode the tray ceiling, then pull the lower ceiling plane 4.5" back to the inside of the invisible wall.
