In X6, with a camera open so you see the camera in plan view, I did a cad detail from view and only the camera label (text) went to the cad detail. This is interesting. I never have any cameras showing when I do a cad detail from view. If I save the camera, close the view and show the camera in plan view, then when I do a cad detail from view, yes the camera and camera label show in the cad detail. Never knew it did this.

It's in my locker but I'm not downloading it yet.

To get this, I used a cad box with a colored fill set to the back, a cad box with pattern fill set to the front. For the chair, I used the cad block of the chair moved to the front.

Dennis, I haven't downloaded any of these but it could maybe help. http://www.sketchuptexture.com/p/exterior-floors.html

Make it have a ceiling, then build the roof. Once the roof is on, remove the ceiling.

How Does The Soft Ware Calculate These Dimensions?

It's hard to tell you what's going on with out looking at the plan. None of your settings are to default. It's good practice to always work with defaults where or when possible. -
I have a 4'x8' trailer I made several years ago. Just for grins, I tried to build a house on top. Took me about 20 minutes to figure something out. To do it better, it would have to be done with a little more time. I guess it can be done. The house is not a symbol...only the trailer. Maybe I should say the trailer is under the house (tip).

This will probably be your best answer to make it work. It's what I do.

This happened to me several years ago and I had to pull a wall back and re-join it to fix the problem.

I don't seem to have any problems.

Be sure all your .PL0 (if a foundation is done), .PL1, .Pl2 files are in one folder. You need to open the .PL1 file to have it work. Do not just open the .PL2 file. I just went through this doing a plan for someone using V9.5.

Open the room dbx and edit the ceiling material by increasing the emissive setting to 60% or higher under the general material tab. That should help.

Haven't looked at it but remember that the attic level is not a floor level.

Thank you.

If you try it, you'll find out real fast. To answer your question, do the last.

Draw a marquee around it to block it. then you can save it to the library.

Okay. I was doing it a different way which automatically unchecked "outlet" and "110 volts".

I have mine to where it hangs on the wall. To really make it work from the library, you have to do it a different way.

Michael, if you're wanting to save it to your library to reuse again, this way as mentioned will not work. Try it. It never has worked this way for electrical. Here is a new symbol that will work. I think I have it set right. If not, it's probably close enough. Duplex 16 inches.calibz

I have postponed it until next Monday the 8th.
