  1. Make sure in your camera view that you have "Invisible Walls" checked. See pic below.
  2. Check out this video. https://youtu.be/DGz_KBzzWxg
  3. I am looking for someone to create a few furniture pieces for me. Willing to pay for good quality symbols. Please send me a PM to discuss this in more detail. Thanks!
  4. You should delete this thread and re-post it... it's a tab bit confusing. LOL
  5. Check THIS video out. Pretty helpful.
  6. Make sure your wall layers are on.
  7. I would be lost without my iPad Pro and my iPencil. Saves me SOOOO much paper.
  8. Cheryl, Stay safe down there. Here in Indiana we haven't had much of a spring yet. Should be here in the next week or so. Hope all is well.
  9. Stunning as always. What is the name of the grey paint color in the 3rd pic? I love it!
  10. Do a "Save As" and then strip out what you don't want to share. Ex: Delete the house, but leave the garage. Then post the plan.
  11. I honestly can't think of a reason I would want to use one of these fandangled contraptions. LOL Back when they first released the HP TouchSmart desktop all in one computers, I hoped on board and bought one. Big price, Low Low quality. I love technology, but I just can't see a feasible reason I would need Ideum table. The price of these things are insane...
  12. Yes. All of my cores are enabled in Ryzen Master. I dropped my cores used in Chief to 28 like yours and that solved me maxing out issue. I think I'm in the homeward stretch here. I'm not experiencing anymore crashes (knock on wood) and the changing the cores used in chief solved my CPU issue. I have some work to do tonight and I will let you know how the system holds up. Fingers crossed! Thank you for all your help.
  13. There has got to be something I'm missing. I installed the new RAM and the CPU still maxes out at 99-100% making it impossible to do any other tasks on the machine. I feel like this machine should be able to handle multiple tasks while rendering. It has to be some kind of setting I'm missing. Any Ideas? Below is an updated list of my computer's parts. 14. I bought the ripper on sale for $799.99. It was a pre- Black Friday sale. I bought everything on my list for sale. Around Black Friday seems to be a good time to buy computer parts. Lol
  15. I bought the G.SKILL Flare X Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) Desktop Memory Model F4-3200C14Q-32GFX to replace the RAM that wasn't compatible with my mobo. I should have payed a little closer attention to detail when purchasing my parts. Thank you to all who helped me out on here. Especially you, Jon. My RAM should be here Friday and we're going to install it and test it out.
  16. So we're thinking it's a RAM compatibility issue. Mick was right. The ram I bought is not on the QVL list. We are going to apply new thermal paste just to be safe. The computer doesn't crash anymore during rendering, Chief is the only thing that crashes now and so far just during rendering. It gets a few passes in and shuts down. I have picked out two different sets of compatible RAM (according the the QVL List). Below are the links. Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated. I'd like to thank you guys for taking time out of your day to help me. You guys offer an invaluable service to this forum. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820232623 https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820236086&ignorebbr=1
  17. I got it up to 3200 mhz. I disabled the XMP and used Ryzen Master to up the speed. Everything else seems to be running fine now so far. Everything except Chief. It gets through just a few passes rendering and then Chief crashes.
  18. I have already updated the bios. XMP 2.0 is enabled and in the bios it shows it being set to profile 1 at 3600 mhz, but the system information only shows it running at 2133 mhz.
  19. I tried in both the mobo and the Ryzen Master. Most of the time after trying to increase the ram speed it wouldn't post and would revert back to lower speed.
  20. It was a clean install of Windows. No problems at all. It's just the CPU that gets to 100% load.
  21. It did render before I tried to up the clock speed of the ram. Now it renders for a few passes and then Chief crashes. I have the rendering set to only use 26 of the 32 cores. When ever the computer gets to 100% load it keeps crashing. Maybe it is something with the mobo. I will have to look into that.
  22. I just built a new computer with what I thought was top of the line parts, however my CPU maxes out whenever I raytrace and now it causes my computer to crash. I can't figure out what the heck the problem is. Below is a list of the parts I purchased. Any advise is appreciated. Parts List: *MasterCase Pro 5 Mid-Tower Case with FreeForm Modular System, Window Side Panel, Top Mesh Cover, and Watercooling Bracket by Cooler Master *WD Black 1TB Performance Desktop Hard Disk Drive - 7200 RPM SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache 3.5 Inch - WD1003FZEX *EVGA 210-GQ-0850-V1 GQ 80 Plus Gold, 850W ECO Mode Semi Modular Power Supply *G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3600 (PC4 28800) Desktop Memory Model F4-3600C17Q-32GTZR *GIGABYTE X399 AORUS Gaming 7 sTR4 AMD X399 ATX 3*M.2 4-Way SLI AMD Motherboard *SAMSUNG 960 EVO M.2 2280 1TB PCI-Express 3.0 x4 Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) MZ-V6E1T0BW *GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1080 DirectX 12 GV-N1080WF3OC-8GD 8GB 256-Bit GDDR5X PCI Express 3.0 x16 SLI Support ATX Video Card *Windows 10 Home - 64-bit - OEM *Enermax Liqtech TR4 240 AIO Liquid CPU Cooler, Support 500W+TDP and Overclocking, AMD Socket TR4 Ready, ELC-LTTR240-TBP *AMD RYZEN Threadripper 1950X 16-Core / 32 Threads 3.4 GHz Socket sTR4 180W YD195XA8AEWOF Desktop Processor Shouldn't my computer be up to par to run chief without breaking a sweat? What could be causing the problem here? UPDATE: The ram won't clock higher than 2133mhz. They can go up to 3600mhz but when I push them higher than 2133mhz the system becomes unstable.
  23. @Cheryl_C_Crane Is around the Huntsville area I believe. Drop her a message.
  24. Thanks to all who responded so far. Javatom, you were right. I'm fussing around with these walls trying not to encroach into the study too much but it's not working in my favor. Lol. Eric. That cad line idea is extremely helpful. Thank you. Thank you for also attaching the plan you created yours in. It really helped. As soon as I figure out these walls, I'll post something a little later. You guys are awesome!
