I suggest deciding which house has floor 1 at 0.0. Then adjust the terrain for that building. For the second building you have to change floor by floor RELATIVE to the 1st house.

Yeah, thanks Eric, I have beens through that... it increases the size of the MAC arrow but when I go into CA the arrow is microscopic... so I think it it a CA thing. Maybe I can run this by a few folks in our PBR workshop tomorrow.......

Wow P., great find, I too never knew this. BTW, I wonder if this applies for other defaults...... i.e. whether in one view the framing will show as lines and in another they show as lumber..... I bet that is the case..... nice job P.

Eric, I think I did it. It is a combination of the CEILING SHELF for hearth and the FLOOR at second floor for fireplace and ....... I needed to be careful with too many layers. (take a look at the extra hearths and how some are good and some aren't. Thanks for the help. life is good again! LEO PLAN 5J junk FOR CT A all good for eric.plan

I did spend a lot of time trying to do this with walls, it would of been much faster with PSOLIDS like you suggested. If the SHELF CEILING worked as sat think it should, it would be quicker for me , plus any section thru would show the framing materials.... also IF I used material lists, this material would be included. No worries though, I am moving on.

I could not get any of those methods to work.
