Try the Library. Also all the catalogs available in the 3D Library. If you can't find what you need there you can create your own.

Yes they may have had one as default at one time. You can make your own that will function the same way. Let me know if you have any issues with the setup. https://www.chiefarchitect.com/support/article/KB-00770/creating-a-custom-toolbar.html

Place Library Object is what you are looking for I believe. Go to "Customize Toolbars".

Could you use a Room Finish Schedule with Room Name and Room Type ? Enter the Room Number Manually and let the Name and Type populate automatically ( once they are set up to function that way ).

Patio Door on attic level not showing up on door schedule

Check to see that your "Terrace" room is defined as exterior. -
The Awning is likely on the Fixtures,Exterior layer by default and you will need to turn that layer on in the layerset that the cross section camera is using and it is not likely on by default.

Just click and open. You will see the Line Specification DBX with length and angle data.

I must be something like the one @Dermot commented on recently with the outlet was not recognizing the cabinet generated back splash that was mounted to a separate wall. I think he said the software was not quite smart enough to figure it out quite yet.

I believe that was just the wall sections covering the end wall truss that I was referring to. No framing just sheathing and siding. How would you build that in reality ? I believe it does work in other situations and likely this one should be sent into tech support so they can figure it out. Normally you can have a regular wall definition there and that truss just deletes the framing but I usually still put the thin wall on the drawing so it does not get framed accidentally before the trusses arrive.

Anything special that you did ?

Chief corner boards seem to be automatic and referenced from a source symbol. I have found a bug related to another case I have submitted and wondered if anyone knows if the reference symbol is totally hard coded or if there may be a hidden library where items of that nature are kept ?

It works for me in X11. If you are not using X11 place a copy of your cabinet in a fresh plan file first.

Aamir, Make a copy of your edited Awning and put it in a fresh plan file. Treat it as it's own structure and document it with elevation views and a Orthographic Top View or the auto generated 2D cad block. You can make cad detail from view's of each and snap your dimensions to the linework or open the individual lines to check length and even edit the linework if necessary. Compile and send to layout. The shop will let you know if they have enough info to build it for you I am sure. Oh and since you are using Chief include an nice 3D perspective rendering so they get the overall concept quickly.

Yes I though something went wrong. Just start typing and then make a choice from the drop down list that appears.
-
Yes that would be a less complex solution. And seems it would work fine.

He might show up if you call him. This is definitely his thing. @yusuf-333

If you use a second roof plane for just the screening it should work ok. Just copy the original one and drop it 2" and gut the rest of the options. A bit of mucking around and I don't think it can be done fully auto but maybe good enough for the situation.

That looks good. Chief does a good job with it's vector pdf's.

Neil it is just the transparency that was giving the issue. Here is one with a white background. Download if you think you can use it.

Ok try the PDF at 300 or 600 dpi. Microsoft seems to be having issues with .png files recently but the one I posted displays fine in Windows Photo Viewer or Photo Gallery, but not Windows 10 "Photos" or Chrome Browser.

That does not actually do it for me Glenn. It must be something similar to that in the text box.

Can't seem to replicate when building from scratch. Be glad to look at your file if you want to send it or post it.
