  1. Does you Temporary Dimension Tool look like this or like this ?
  2. It is amazing some of the things Chief does that we never use. I definitely missed that one.
  3. Just ask Yusuf Chief can curve anything.
  4. Not sure about the rope light although they are different than regular lights. There should not be an issue with the solids but you can do that just fine with psolids so it is not necessary to use solids.

  6. Have you tried placing a door into a curved wall ?
  7. It is a little tricky to figure out with out the plan file but it may be a hybrid type situation. Possibly the shower is built as a room within the bath room and needs to be lowered as I illustrated with the closet above. Just a guess though.
  8. Sorry guys I think Chad wants the opposite of what you are suggesting.
  9. I don't think so, I divided the section of the room, then decreased the height for that area but the entire room adjusted to the height I inputted. In theory Eric's suggestion is the way to go it seems. Try to drop the floor level of the room above and delete the room dividers on the level below.
  10. Did you lower the ceiling height for the room you divided off ? I think that is all you missed.

Did you set your defaults before you built the roof planes ? If not you should have seen this.
  12. Whatever! That's pretty cool! Is there a speed setting for that? Yes adjust your "Incremental Rotate Angle" for the camera you are using. ie. 1° is slow, 20° is fast. You can also initiate a spin by giving a push with your mouse.
  13. Same here, mine was working fine until the instant it almost gave me a heart attack, and it was no more. AMD said oh well it happens. Smoked it.
  14. Could you post your Render and Video Card Status settings from Preferences so Mick and I can see if we can figure this one out for you.
  15. Not so sure that is entirely true Graham, the Default Lighting White does behave differently than the Lighting White.
  16. Give this a try, Sorry I stepped out for a bit there. Light Test Chopped.plan
  17. There are two materials for "Lighting White" which can be used in light fixtures that you need to be turned on all the time or fixtures that are used in non defined rooms that need to be on in daylight conditions. Then there is "Default Glass (Lights): Lighting White" found in Material Defaults that will respond to the light being turned on or off as well as the Sunlight being toggled off.
  18. Hello David, The file that I posted works with Chief Architect Premier.
  19. Sorry I did not mean to mislead you. The choices are the choices. You could use the blank arrow style and draw your own using cad on every single dimension line or print to paper and then use your hand drawing skills to add those custom details. Even though there are a lot of choices we have been asking for the ability to customize but we are not there yet. Take a look at the choices first though and you may find something that would be acceptable.
  20. There are 49 choices of arrow styles for dimension lines which includes a blank style that you could always pencil in your own hand drawn style if you wanted to. Why not download the a trial version and give it a try ? The basics are really pretty straight forward.
  21. Is your Lighting Mode set to Automatic or "Light Set" and is the camera you are using set to use the Light Set that you have set up and turned on? Spot lights will also create a more dramatic cone effect so you know that the light is on.
  22. Good call. Windows does a lot of stuff that is not always so good. Try and address the driver issue with AMD or Chief Tech Support first before messing with your windows update I would think.
