The first one is the macro that isn't working, and the next 2 are returning multiple values because you have 2 schedules...one in the plan view and one in a CAD detail.

I don't see why anyone would really want this capability. Very unusual if you ask me. Notes are typically view specific and the issues in the video could be addressed by using different Active Note Defaults depending on the view.

Impossible to tell whats going on without at least the layout file, but I'd say 95% of the time I see a problem like this its because a person changed one of these 2 settings not knowing what they were doing... Its usually the scale that gets changed though. Unless you have a very good reason to change that scale (printing at an upscaled scale for example), then that setting should always be 1 to 1 in layout.

I do as Eric suggested above, but just FYI, the apron is an exact copy of any molding you apply to the sill except that is adjusted to match the thickness of your casing as well as the width of your casing (in combination with the sill) down to a minimum of 1" tall I believe..

Either run a library update... ...or use this...

Here are the settings I typically recommend... ...and if you have a layout already started for the project, do this from the layout file and not from the plan file so that the layout file and any referenced plan files are all included in the zipped folder.

Not something I will likely use either. Its kinda weird f you ask me. This is one instance where I actually think it would be better (at least for me personally) to place the notes on the layout page...an ability we don't have for the notes...something I think should have been included and a suggestion I already sent in.

I think the one time I will will most commonly use other plans is to replace the current "As-Built CAD Mask". This way my mask stays live if I have to make any changes to the As-Built, besides that though, yes, for multiple floors... and for Grid Lines.

Just an aside here… Is it possible that your error handling is written in such a way that the referenced context is never initiated...i.e. it’s not an error, it just results in a blank owner.room?

Gotcha. You can’t actually reference the room because it’s not an object. You would have to reference an object in the room.

Its not just you. Its all of us. You just have to be VERY careful and deliberate about which views you edit those 3D moldings in. You basically have to use a different elevation view for each and every segment that turns a corner or each plane. and only edit one end node at a time making sure to monitor that you did the right thing before moving on to the next.

Correct. You do have to be careful with exactly HOW you edit that molding poly line though and you're really better off just using the roof plane to get it shaped correctly before disconnecting it and using it as its own entity.

Nice thought Eric. Good job. What's really great is that X11 fixed the issue with edited roof moldings and gutters. Once those moldings are separated from the roof plane, they remain stable and no longer get deleted when the roof is changed. This means you can use the special shadow board molding behaviour independently of the roof.
