  1. Not happening because no one knows what you used to build those walls, how they're connected, what the wall type definitions look like, etc. etc.
  2. This is a VERY GOOD tip Glenn. Thank you. Can make very quick work of managing warehouse plans for all sorts of purposes.
  3. Why yes, I do have ideas. I suspect its some internal limitation Chief put in place because they don't want us using the schedule number in the schedule.
  4. That basically just replaces the Use Default checkbox and (D) in the data field. If that is checked then you're telling Chief to use the default setting. If its unchecked then your telling Chief to ignore the default and use this instead.
  5. The first one is the macro that isn't working, and the next 2 are returning multiple values because you have 2 schedules...one in the plan view and one in a CAD detail.
  6. I don't see why anyone would really want this capability. Very unusual if you ask me. Notes are typically view specific and the issues in the video could be addressed by using different Active Note Defaults depending on the view.
  7. Impossible to tell whats going on without at least the layout file, but I'd say 95% of the time I see a problem like this its because a person changed one of these 2 settings not knowing what they were doing... Its usually the scale that gets changed though. Unless you have a very good reason to change that scale (printing at an upscaled scale for example), then that setting should always be 1 to 1 in layout.
  8. I do as Eric suggested above, but just FYI, the apron is an exact copy of any molding you apply to the sill except that is adjusted to match the thickness of your casing as well as the width of your casing (in combination with the sill) down to a minimum of 1" tall I believe..
  9. Either run a library update... ...or use this...
  10. Use a slab drawer front from the library for those lower drawers and you will get independent control.
  11. What Mark said. I was just going to take a screenshot or 2. Here are the settings I typically recommend... ...and if you have a layout already started for the project, do this from the layout file and not from the plan file so that the layout file and any referenced plan files are all included in the zipped folder.
  12. Nope. That's the wrong way.
  13. Not something I will likely use either. Its kinda weird f you ask me. This is one instance where I actually think it would be better (at least for me personally) to place the notes on the layout page...an ability we don't have for the notes...something I think should have been included and a suggestion I already sent in.
  14. I think the one time I will will most commonly use other plans is to replace the current "As-Built CAD Mask". This way my mask stays live if I have to make any changes to the As-Built, besides that though, yes, for multiple floors... and for Grid Lines.
  15. Rotate/Resize About Current Point. Do a quick search in the Help files.
  16. Cool. So you're good then right? I'm going to go ahead and skip posting an example if you have it figured out.
  17. Just an aside here… Is it possible that your error handling is written in such a way that the referenced context is never initiated...i.e. it’s not an error, it just results in a blank owner.room?
  18. Yep. Give me a bit though, i’m away from the office at the moment and I have a training session as soon as I get back there. I’ll post something ASAP though.
  19. Gotcha. You can’t actually reference the room because it’s not an object. You would have to reference an object in the room.
