The User Catalog is not covered by the Autobackup system , that is your responsibility , I would suggest you call Tech. Support and see if they can help recover it. M.

Great news...... Now switch to the All OFF Layer Set ( make sure ALL is actually off ) In the Display Options ( or ALDO) Turn ON..... just the Framing,Wall Layer Hold the Shift Key , ( called a marquee Select) and Select all the showing Framing (studs) Open the Objects per normal and on the Line Style Tab under Layer , change the Layer to your Addition Framing Layer. I didn't download the Plan as you and Eric had already figured out the Original Issue so I can't confirm it in this case. M.

This is pretty typical if you make a Deck on an Upper Story that is partially or wholly over Living Space below, changing it to a Balcony for example will cause it to Frame the Floor as a "Normal Room" and not use CA's Auto Deck Framing. M.

Special New Material (and Layer) used in the Wall Definition? try Exporting/Importing the Wall Definitions from the Plan it works in, into the new plan.... M.

Glenn is right ,you should be able to select the Sink in Plan View by selecting the Cabinet and then hitting the TAB Key (or the Next icon) and then deleting the Sink if needed too. M.

Might be something that needs reporting to Tech Support so the Developers can look at it , rather than posting about it on the Suggestions Forum, where it maybe never seen. Did not open the plan as the pic seems like it is definitely incorrect.... M.

Not Automatic but I use %layout.label% on page 0 for Numbering and if I need a 6.1 for example, I insert a Sheet after 6 and simply number it myself as 6.1 without the hashtag/pound sign (which is what forces Chief to number consecutively and renumber) via the Edit Page info DBX. The files are left behind quite often, especially if there is a crash or other issue... I was told some years back CA can't open them as the Header File is missing, but only Dermot perhaps could confirm that? Just thought it maybe worth an ask..... if he has an Undo.plan and most often you don't, as mentioned. But as you can see here from a plan I on worked on back in Nov. they are indeed left behind .........At 26mb I would assume it is the Whole plan.....since the final plan was 19mb though I have no idea why some are 26mb and others are 7mb or even 2mb.

Forgot to mention that , although chief can't open .Undo.plan files you could perhaps ask Tech Support if they have a tool to do so ... ......If you have an Undo.plan file in the Undo folder? Mick.

That may happen if you didn't give the Plan a name until the final save when you closed it . The Archiving/Backup System doesn't work unless the File has a name , should be the 1st thing you do after open a new plan.....but likely you know that .... So perhaps something else is up ? did you get the infamous error where Chief disappears off the Screen with your work and were not offered an opportunity to save?
