Instead of a Fixed Window you can use a Pass Through instead and as it is a type of window you can also get it to corner join and turn off the Corner post , and then use a Single Panel Sliding Door Symbol which is easy to Transform the require number of copies along the wall while offsetting them their own thickness as well. You can either then block them together if needed or leave as single Units, so you can slide them open or closed as needed.... Here is the Plan File to play with..... Corner Sliders from Pass-through.plan Mick.

This is my experience with the Auto Bay/Box as well..... Mick

Your Images aren't showing Joey..... M.

And on a fixed price contract = good enough is good enough However I like to think Clients are/will be long-term and try thinking beyond the immediate future...... I am surprised more don't these days especially when 5-10yr Warranties are mandatory in many places now... M.
-
Course you do you are the Architect , and if it's on the Plans it should be on the job...... No doubt Fascia mounted costs a bit more but long term there are no issues and you can gain 3-4" more space in the Deck too M.
-
Okay that explains it , I don't allow Railings to be installed ON the Vinyl Membrane at all , seen way too many leak issues over the years. I typically always Fascia Mount Railings these days whether Wood or aluminium. Mick.
-
Not necessarily , but may depend on what you need to show and in what view . As you already Noted windows will join on Corners..... so Configure a Fixed Window to look like a Sliding Door , ie Floor to 8' (?), no frame, casing or sill, and setting the Sashes to the needed Sizes. You can then show it with or without a corner post...... Mick.
-
I am curious why you'd want the Railings sloped and not level in this situation? personally I wouldn't build it that way ITRW..... M.
-
you can also use a Polyline Solid drawn in Elevation , though normally I'd think that deck would have a waterproof membrane on it not Planks. M.
-
It maybe one of these two settings causing it, read up on them --- I have not looked at the plans...
-
I am curious as to the Reason of why use 3D Views rather than Standard Elevation Views in this particular case? M.

Wheelchair ramp landing newel posts oddly doubled
Kbird1 replied to Christina_Girerd's topic in General Q & A
No, just a railing with the Follow Stairs checkbox marked..... ....draw the curved part straight and then use the ARC Tool to curve it, once done. here is your plan back..... SchC3forrailing.plan -
Windows 11 requires ,TPM or SecureBoot to be enabled in the Bios , a quick google should find you plenty of info. Not sure I am in any rush either at this point........ at least not on my Main (Drawing) Computer. M.

Wheelchair ramp landing newel posts oddly doubled
Kbird1 replied to Christina_Girerd's topic in General Q & A
I think you have found a bug as the Ramp posts Auto turn into 1/2 posts and don't join properly to the Landing Railings which makes them look like one is exploding out the other. However if you Turn the auto Railings off the Ramps and Landing and draw your own it works okay ...though Chief has never joined Round Rails that well to Round Newels..... -
I have used this method before as well , few quirks but works okay. Mick.

Sorry you are right , I didn't expand my library out to full view and assumed I was in the Bonus Specialty Storage library.... Chief has updated a few Libraries again this week including Blum again , so run an update ..... M.

Chief has Slatted (Ladder type) Shelves now in the Specialty Storage Bonus library , under Core>Cabinets Doors,Drawers and Panels > Speciality storage, I just discovered looking for mine. Here is mine placed into a Plan...... Plan file : Slatted Shelf Plan.plan
-
Should be able to just place a Shelf off the Cabinet menu and then set it's height and material for that cabinet. it will happily intersect the main cabinet without effecting it. Have not watched Eric's videos but the Slat was made from a Polyline Solid and then multicopied and rotated as needed to make the slatted shelf. them me see if I still have the Plan... * looks like Mark just beat me to it.... slightly different style (ladder) Mick
-
You can make the Slatted Shelf and save it as a Symbol , in this situation I think you'll need to place it manually though as I did with both of these. Mick.

Some Councils here were/are shifting to 11x17 as well as it is easy for them to scan paper plans themselves for digital storage , but many have also now gone totally digital due to Covid and all submissions are now on PDF only. Yes as mentioned , there is no automated method currently but add a Suggestion on the suggestion Forum ( again) as I am sure many will add there thought there too. Mick.
