  1. I had 2 plan files & had 2 camera views. Mine is not that good as I didn't try very hard to make it correct. You can tell the shadows do not match. But no shadows & you may not even notice there are two cameras.
  2. Maybe looking in 3dwarehouse.sketchup.com may help
  3. I have a client that has kitchen cabinets he wants to reuse but the specs call out 34" high counter tops. So to use these cabinets he has to cut 2" from the 4" toe kick. It is a USDA project and I can not find any info on toe kick requirements.
  4. Sectional attached. Insert & explode to edit items Perhaps the style is not close enough? Sectional.calibz
  5. Perhaps I'm missing something here but the Chief catalog has several sectionals that have individual pieces. Could you use a similar piece that can be edited as you wish? I'm assuming the MFG sectional has no separate items?
  6. I've run across many engineering graphs that use a different scale for X than Y. Gives me a head ache. The worst are Metal Building Plans. They use a funky way to depict column base plates. They are not to scale for the floor plan they are in.
  7. I have had contractors with their own printer/plotter and that is where the problems start. The print shop I use NEVER uses "Print to Fit" printer settings.
  8. How about? Warning: If this 1" square is not exactly 1" in both direction the sheet was not printed properly. Do not scale drawings under these conditions.
  9. So you would have to rebuild / add back handles & hinges. Seems odd that these components would not be in the mulled unit.
  10. Tip: Watch as many videos as you can. You will see many tricks along the way.
  11. Oops! That defeated the purpose. The door sch is missing items?
  12. Thanks Ryan, I did add those to the entry doors. But this is an interior door. It's not too often I use a double door for an electrical closet as it is usually a room. Thanks for the tip Rene
  13. I have an electrical room that needs one dead bolt on a double door. But Chief adds dead bolt to each door. Is there a setting for this condition?
  14. I'm not sure why could not see it. I should have said "Plan View" Thanks Chop for pointing me in the direction.
  15. I see in the plan view framing header member the fill option is "Default" but where is the default set up at?
  16. I need a teak plank floor for a bathroom shower. Installing a floor material region where I need it but Teak Material is solid. Should I use Deck Planks? I guess I need to create a deck to get the planks.
  17. No the gap was Chief, so I added the post to cover it. Probably need a post anyway.
  18. The issue in the picture above is solved by another post or redo the symbol with 1" ends on the grid. That one has 1" ends. With a post the spacing is nice.
  19. Thanks Mick. I may give up on the boundary. Here is may progress so far. The panel is still messing with me. But I did build s gate. Wire Mesh 72.calibz
  20. This afternoon I'm messing around with this railing panel. I see that making a 6' high rail I need a 6' high symbol as Chief stretches in the vertical direction. In the horizontal direction Chief overlaps the pattern. But I wanted 1" gap left & tight. My mesh has 1" overlap on the left & right but the railing shifts the pattern. How do I get that side margin? Wire Mesh.calibz
  21. Good find Glen. Is there a way to scale that symbol?
