  2. I have two laptops, one with DDR4 and one with DDR5, I don't know what the tests show..I just know I wont go back to nearly an identical laptop , this one with the DDR5 is soooo snappy..I won't even use my desktop with a 4090, thats how much of a difference I feel
  3. Please tag or quote me, I only randomly came back to this to check on it. You are showing automatic fillers on the left and right, that can be turned off in general cabinet settings. Separations are within the Front/Sides/Back panel of your Cabinet and is a different thing entirely. I wouldn't bother with this, we are all experienced architectural drafters here and plan view handle hardware isn't giving anyone any pertinent information. Provide an elevation with annotations for your handle hardware So you want the sani pipe to be in cabinet? This should suffice
  4. Revert your cabs to default and this would be easy, otherwise do it on a cabinet by cabinet basis for those cabinets with the same face configuration using the match properties tool Match Properties Tool with Face Configuration then make your edit Change the Line Style for the Cabinets, Door Drawer within the Layer Set you are using No, why would you want to?? do this in elevation. You could hand place all hardware in plan but this would not be useful to a shop or builder Have a diagram? this didn't make sense to me We can dimension to openings, show an elevation with openings and dimension it 3d moldings if you must show it in 3d, otherwise simple CAD or just a note should get you there.
  5. Please provide a plan file, wayyyyyy easier to address your questions as I would go about offering solutions more based on your plan than your stated intention. Sometimes there are better ways than what you are looking for.
  6. Hello Aloha, Thank you for the lead! I appreciate it. With my experience, expertise, and reputation in this software, I believe I can bypass the application process. I usually bid for contracts, given the opportunity cost on margin for hourly gigs. While my hourly rate is $20,000 I understand that it might not be suitable for everyone, haha, and I am willing to negotiate. Rest assured, I am able to work efficiently and effectively with this software, and I am confident that I can meet your prerequisites without any issues. If you are interested, please let me know if you would like to schedule a call and I can give you a proper bid after review.
  7. Soooo AC, haha, if you give me a smidge of patience on email responses I could've helped you out, poking fun but I think you asked me about this this morning. Para-CAD you own my pro template as well so I'll show you its just a quick settings change in the schedule. You would simply make a separate schedule for each continuous wall and include the column "perimeter" Not as advanced as Joe's system though 230425-Compressed.mp4
  8. Just checking to see if you got my email response on April 4 :)

  9. What problems are you having with roofs? What type of items? It shows you are a designer, why mess with material lists? What do you mean by thickened edge? have a visual? Why can't you do this in Chief? What problem are you running into? We can definitely do this in Chief We can do this in Chief Are you having trouble with accuracy, have you tried the tab-input method for sizing. Ever polyline or line based object is dimension-able and even reports its dimension. This would be a very very short list, so with that in mind, if you think chief cant do something, post a question, chances are it can Ask away
  10. We have made this suggestion before, it helps if you add your two cents to it. For now, just map contained selection to a hotkey as well as intersected selection, which is a quick way of getting a few different selection techniques. Couple that with learning tool-restrictive selections, deselections, marquee select similar, match properties and more. I would challenge yourself to go all Chief, you are missing out on some of the benefit of boilerplating/automating redundant tasks and creating a warehouse plan system. Things we draw in Chief are smart data, meaning that everything is carrying information that can inform other aspects within Chief. As soon as you work outside of chief, you are losing the potential for automating redundant tasks. I really barely do any actual CAD work in Chief to produce a full condoc set
  11. Cool I will check it out...You probably know this but I am a firm believer that we can do any cad based actions in chief and kick AC to the curb Maybe we can help you with that..and thanks
  12. Michael was correct, you have duplicate posts. Curious why you have a post-dated video response?
  13. Second using Alaskan for specifically what you are asking for, he is a great service and great to work with. Alternatively, why not simply leave individual components as individual components and block them into your chair, which can report to whatever schedule you like or material list...or, build your chair out of a cabinet, by converting your components to cabinet doors/millwork and pulling a material list from that?
  14. Sooooo I would agree with you, until I got a machine with PCI 4 and DDR5, and now I will never use my i9 based machine again because it was on PCI3 and DDR4. The difference feels like a LOT
  15. I offer training direct from my shop I've been using Photoshop for 27 years, and I have a ton of very quick tips and tricks for making your renderings pop. Adjust for issues, add filters, add custom layer styles and so much more. Build out a template file for lightning fast render edits.
