kylejmarsh
Been looking around and can't find a way to enable option-copy dragging. Not to get confusing on the language - but in many other programs you can copy an existing element simply by holding/pushing option while you're moving it. Want to copy something? Just start dragging it with the move handle, hit option, and a copy is made. Am I missing some setting where this can be enabled? OR is this a feature request? justmejerry
Just curious here...are you just using this to copy on a one time basis or is it to drop multiple copies? What happens when you let go of drag handle once copy is made? Does the item snap back to it's origin?

Northriver
Have you tried the transform replicate tool? It lets you make copies and precisely locate the copies in the XY direction as well as in a radial pattern.
Joe_Carrick
Another option is the "Multi-Copy" tool. That allows you to copy at an interval by dragging.
