Video card for X6

Recommended Posts

I have an Intel Graphics processor in my laptop but also have NVIDIA GeForce GT 525M. I was able to get Chief X5 to use the NVIDIA processor but can't remember how. Anyone able to help be get X6 to look at the NVIDIA instead of the Intel? Thanks.

Typically, you assign either onboard or third-party GPU in the BIOS settings.

typically only on start up...it varies, but usually hitting F2 or DEL...but as your starting up, before windows loads, it should list it usually on the bottom of the screen what to push to enter setup or bios.

Good luck.

I think there is a way to do it with the Nvidia software as well.

Steve

Go to Windows Control Panel, click on NVidia Control Panel, then click on the Program Settings tab. Select item 1 and point to

chief architect premier x6.exe & click add.

Close the NVidia Control Panel and you you should be right to go.
