Extra/double interior wall frame – how to define corner connection?

I'm working on a project where the contractor decided to frame an extra stud layer on the interior side of this kitchen (in order to create enough depth for plumbing and a washer/dryer hookup).

How do I adjust the way the walls connect at the corners so that the extra framing layer hugs the inside of the walls on each side, rather than cutting halfway through them?

Just a single wall on my end with 2 layers of framing in the definition. Strange it's behaving differently over here.

I'm unfortunately using Home Designer and dang, looks like there is no wall intersection tool. I did try adjusting the Through Wall at Start/End intersection settings, but that causes it to go all the way through to the exterior of the house, which of course isn't right.

Oh well, I'll just let this one go. Thanks anyway all
