meanwhile Posted yesterday at 03:17 AM Share Posted yesterday at 03:17 AM I'm working on a project where the contractor decided to frame an extra stud layer on the interior side of this kitchen (in order to create enough depth for plumbing and a washer/dryer hookup). How do I adjust the way the walls connect at the corners so that the extra framing layer hugs the inside of the walls on each side, rather than cutting halfway through them? SHCanada2 Posted yesterday at 04:32 AM Share Posted yesterday at 04:32 AM i have to do that every once in awhile and have not run into that issue. Do you have two walls there or one wall with 2 walls in the definition? regardless, have you tried the wall intersection tool?

meanwhile
Just a single wall on my end with 2 layers of framing in the definition. Strange it's behaving differently over here. I'm unfortunately using Home Designer and dang, looks like there is no wall intersection tool. I did try adjusting the Through Wall at Start/End intersection settings, but that causes it to go all the way through to the exterior of the house, which of course isn't right. Oh well, I'll just let this one go. Thanks anyway all Edited 7 hours ago by meanwhile
SHCanada2
i will normally put a second wall with no room definition, or break the wall and change the thickness
