madcowscarnival
Does anyone have a narrow wall sink that would be used in a 1/2 bath below stairs? There's ~40inches available width, offset toilet and door, trying to place a sink on the other wall but it's pretty skinny. The Owner doesn't care, he just wants and extra half-bath (already two full).
javatom
Half bath under stairs usually means you have a code violation on ceiling height.

madcowscarnival
Stairs leading to a mezzanine, I'll be able to cantilever out floor joists above for a short section of flat ceiling. Have ~7'10 at 10.5" from leading edge of toilet.

madcowscarnival
I cheated and just "shrank" a wall sink, but don't know if a real world product exists.

Here's one available at Lowes. They are available and might help in this tight space.

Gawdzira
If I remember correctly, this project used an Ikea sink.
madcowscarnival
Thank you folks. I'll let him make the call, its nice to have a couple modern viable solutions. Then again, I grew up in an old victorian with a retrofit water closet under the stairs, it was convenient to be able to rest my noggin on the ceiling in the facility... JiAngelo
We've used this Deer Valley sink in the past. Home Depot. <<link. Stock photo.
ericepv Posted yesterday at 03:52 PM Share Posted yesterday at 03:52 PM For a similar project several years ago, I researched fixtures for houseboats and motor-homes. I ended up placing a compact pedestal sink that was already in my library. Look for "Veil" pedestal sink #20710 in the Kohler catalog

May not even need a corner sink. Depending on how much room there is, might even be able to use a pedestal sink or even a standard vanity cabinet. Here's a similar one we recently did...
