Text along a curve or circle

Is there any way to generate text along a curve?

I'm trying to create a block of my architect's license stamps and they both have text that follows the circle of the stamp (see attached)

Personally, I would create those stamps using something else and bring them in as a picture, pdf, or cad file.

 

You can create a custom line style with whatever text on it you like and then curve the line but I seem to get too many problems with uneven gaps and overlaps.  Not sure if there is a good way to avoid these.

I'll second what DB said, a picture file is the best way to accomplish this.

You could also just place the individual letters and rotate around a point using the corresponding edit mode

Jon, if you have Autocad, you can use Express Tools "Arc Aligned" tool to create this kind of text.

 

Or if you want, I can probably modify my stamp to match yours and send you the DWG, which you can import into Chief.  Let me know.

I used AutoCAD to originally create the stamps, but now have gone to using Chief 100% of the time and have let my AutoCAD subscription lapse.

Thanks you for the kind offer, but since I'm planning to retire soon I think I'll just keep using the .jpeg / .png for now.

Not sure why Chief can't replicate that "Arc aligned" tool...
