Curved wainscoting wall

Hello How can I create wainscoting on a curved wall ? would like to have the wainscotting under crown molding and the part above molding will be in wall paper.

There are a couple of videos about creating wainscotting using either cabinets or railings.  I don't think either of these will actually follow a curved wall very well though because each panel section will be straight.  There are some more advanced tricks to make them curve but they are not very easy.  You could always just use a material (using either a wall material region or even just a wall covering) but this might not look as good as you want since the 3D geometry isn't there.  It really all depends on how realistic you need it (and how curved the wall is).

Curved cabinets in conjunction with room molding poly lines.  But it does take quite a bit of fussing.

Converted a cabinet door to a molding, had to mess around a little with repeat distance and height was odd.

I don't know? I just applied the wainscoting from the 

library to a curved wall. Are we overthinking this?

If the radius of the wall is certain, then one way to make a symbol that is curved properly would be to use a door / window / wall niche. These objects can be curved to the wall. The door tool will allow you to create / specify a panel and convert it into a curved symbol to use as a wainscot panel. Moldings for the base and cap are the simple part. 

Further suggestions would be somewhat dependent on the style of wainscot that is desired.

OK, I see, you want curved panels. So build curved

panels. This was done using Molding Polylines to

build the wainscoting and a Material Region for the

wallpaper.
