SHCanada2
Looking through the window the ground looks washed out. I played around with the sunlight but it never looks like the outside camera. Any ideas?
rgardner
Change your sun angle to like -85 or so. Don’t have it follow camera.

rgardner
Perhaps one of the rendering gurus will chime in like @Renerabbitt? Not my expertise but I think your sun intensity is low and in the pbr rtrt settings I believe there is a setting to bring the daytime lighting down a bit? Not at my computer and don’t have a rtrt capable gpu so that would be where I would start.
SHCanada2
yes I put the sun low per the CA video for an interior rendering
MarkMc
A- 2D plants will show through window in standard view but not show through window in RTRT B- lower daytime backdrop intensity not just the sun

Didn't notice the plant issue but yes those are 2d plants. 9 hours ago, rgardner said: in the pbr rtrt settings I believe there is a setting to bring the daytime lighting down a bit
SHCanada2
yeah I noticed the plant thing too and added some 3d trees.. I see the grass colour is different in Mark's too, but much less than my current setup I'll try these couple settings next, thanks

If you want the colors a certain way adjust the color with Physically Based selected, Teapot or Sphere show reflections and lighting a bit better. SHCanada2
setting the backdrop intensity to 100 made a big difference. thanks! sky is a little more blue, but grass is better
Kbird1
Maybe a better Grass texture is needed ? or darkening the one you have? ( got Frost on the ground today? ) Turning off Refraction in PBR can help with some views thru Glass as well M.
SHCanada2
Rene's grass looks really good, allowed me to up the background intensity to 250. and yes its freezing here today, frost is entirely possible overnight
