You see how the back of the stairs has a vertical riser as well? Is there a way to create this in Chief Architect? robdyck Posted January 20, 2022 Share Posted January 20, 2022 If you want separate tread / riser material like in your picture, then you will need to use landings. If you're ok with 1 material, then it can be done by using no stringers, tread overhang of about 18", and tread thickness equal to the unit rise. That would get you pretty close. CharlesVolz Posted January 21, 2022 Share Posted January 21, 2022 I would use landings, countertops (can have moldings attached to them), soffits (can have moldings attached to them) or just moldings by themselves, depending on the detail required, but if you want simple you could just use the stairs tool.
