buildinthevoid
Hey, I'm a newbie here, trying to get the hang of the software. I'm trying to change the interior wall type of one room, but it seems to effect the wall in the room next to it. I tried the break wall tool but the same keeps happening. Wall types are Interior-4 or Interior-6 for example -- that is a wall type is a defined wall. Do you want to change the material on a wall? Yeah, I just want to change the material of one wall without it affecting the wall of the room next to it.

It helps others to have this info in your signature so it's always available. Copy the Walltype ( under define button) and give it a slightly different name and then change the material on one side as needed. M.

The regular Break tool in the lower edit toolbar now breaks walls too, so the Wall Break tool was taken off the stock toolbar. The Wall Break tool is still there, you can go to Customize Toolbars and add it back to your toolbar.
