ACADuser
Client wants all doors & windows numbered separately so each one can be identified. Don't tell me you have to manually over ride the label.

Joe_Carrick
No, you just have to set the Schedule to not "Group Similar Objects".

dshall
I always have a separate callout for each window and door. However I do mostly remodels and I want to designate a window as new or existing, thus, I have to manually number each window and door, and at the same time I put a (E) or a (N) designation before each call out. builtright3
I put the (E) and the (N) in front of the label in the schedule and on the elevations but not the floor plan. Like this:
tommy1
We only use call outs for the new windows and doors and are in the schedule. Existing windows and doors show nothing and are not in a schedule. We do note in the elevations what's new and existing.
builtright3
I don't always show existing windows and doors for the entire house but when your doing Historical houses you have to show everything for the planning commission.
ACADuser
Plans examiner want's to see egress windows or doors on rooms adjoining the remodel area to verify egress was not eliminated.
DRAWZILLA
You can just add an "E" in the label for existing windows like Tommy and Scott said, I also do it this way.
dshall
I do all windows, especially since the energy calcs may use the new and exist.
builtright3
On an addition they only calc out the effected area in the T24 energy

DRAWZILLA
You will get better results if you do the "existing plus addition" method for title 24 calc's. Sometimes you can't get the addition alone to work without using more expensive windows and extra insulation and more expensive heating a/c systems.
