glennw
You can create the floors you need with the defaults you want and then save the plan as a template.
ShaneK
I tried that Glen and did not work. I built a foundation in template and then deleted and saved as template, but when you go to build foundation in this new template it goes back to unchangeable defaults like carpet in my basements!!!!!!!! Framing changes stick.
Joe_Carrick
Shane, Have you upgraded to version X11? Your signature still shows only X10. BTW, I think those defaults (Carpet, etc) are now controlled on a "Room Type" basis. Show you would need to change the Room Type definitions. joey_martin
Shane the foundation you should be able to do if Auto foundations are set up. Once you have a basic 4 walls set up simply open the defaults and set them. As for the upper floors, those you set at the time the floor is created.
