Square Truss Ends

Recommended Posts

I have my roof planes set to Square Cut but my roof trusses all come out Plumb Cut.

Can anyone explain why I can't get the trusses to be Square Cut?.

Joe,

What order are you drawing things?

Auto or manual roofs?

Have you tried building the roof framing after drawing your trusses?

Or, you can auto build the roof and then you can then draw your trusses with square tails.

You can even have one side plumb and the other side square.

Depending on how you go about things, you may have to check Force Truss Rebuild to get the tails to rebuild.

Glenn,

I tried all of that.  Sent the entire plan off to Customer Support.  I haven't heard back from them yet.

You heard back from one of the best and it looks like he can do what you are requesting.

How about posting a plan here and describing what order you are doing things.

If it wasn't that the Plan is about 50 MB I might have done that.

Apparently the 25MB limit to file size has been lifted or changed with the latest forum update.  Not sure exactly what it is but quite possible a plan file of that size could be zipped and uploaded now.

If not please let us know what tech has to say.
