How was this done?

Recommended Posts

On Chief's "Home Designer" website they have an illustration done in Chief (i guess) where the layers of the wall are progressively cut back in such a way to show down to the studs.  How does someone do that in Chief??

There are some invisible walls the they have used but the one you pointed out is likely all modeled manually with wall material regions and psolids etc.  If there is another way I would love to know.  Maybe it can be done in Home Designer ?  Eric ?

Don't think so. It also looks like a Watercolor render with lines and HD cannot do that.

Pony wall with the split angled. P solid for the OSB. Delete surface tool to remove parts of the upper pony wall.

FYI:

if Chief can't do it - then neither can HD products

the HD product lines are various subsets of Chief

less money = less power

Probably lots of ways to do this but here's one more.  You can simply use multiple single layer walls and reshape each one as desired...

Very Nice Michael.  Maybe not false advertising just some rather advanced moves required.
